The Sweden national basketball team represents Sweden in international basketball competition. They are controlled by the Swedish Basketball Federation. Sweden has qualified for the EuroBasket ten times where their best result was 11th place at the 1995 edition. The Scandinavian squad has also qualified for the Summer Olympics once in 1980, finishing in 10th place. The national team though have yet to reach qualification for the FIBA World Cup.
