Robert Van de Walle is a retired Belgian judoka. He was the first judoka to ever compete at five Olympics, from 1976 to 1992. Competing in the half-heavyweight category he won the gold medal in 1980 and a bronze in 1988 at the age of 34. Van de Walle won European titles in 1980, 1985 and 1986. Together with Ingrid Berghmans he was the face of Belgian judo in the late 1970s and 1980s. After retiring from competitions he ran a coaching company together with his wife. He was the head of the Belgian delegation at the 2004 Summer Olympics. In summer 2021, 14 years after obtaining the rank of black belt 8th dan; Van De Walle, currently a member of Judo Club Crossing Schaerbeek, accepted his promotion to 9th dan from the International Judo Federation.

Elco van der Geest is a Dutch-born Belgian judoka. Throughout his career, Elco had competed for the Netherlands. In August 2009, Elco accepted the request to join the Belgian team. He achieved Belgian citizenship right before the 2009 World Judo Championships in Rotterdam.
Maria Petronella "Puck" Oversloot was a Dutch swimmer. Together with Marie Braun, she was the top national backstroke and freestyle competitor. At the 1932 Summer Olympics, Braun was listed for the 4 × 100 m freestyle relay, but fell ill and was replaced by Oversloot. The team won a silver medal, setting a new European record. Both Braun and Oversloot qualified for 400 m freestyle semifinals, but because Braun could not participate, Oversloot withdrew from the event, in solidarity.

Hendrika Anna Maria "Ria" van der Horst is a former Dutch backstroke swimmer who participated in the 1948 and 1952 Summer Olympics. In 1948, she was fifth in 100 m backstroke, and in 1952 she was disqualified for an incorrect turn. She won the gold medal in the same event at the 1950 European Aquatics Championships.
Alexis "Tschuli" Pantchoulidzew was a Russian-born Dutch nobleman and equestrian. He was a long-term partner of Princess Armgard of Sierstorpff-Cramm and mentor to her son, Prince Bernhard of Lippe-Biesterfeld. As equestrian, he was the only competitor for the Netherlands at the Dutch-boycotted 1956 Summer Olympics; aged 67, he was also the eldest participant at those Olympics and the eldest Dutch Olympian ever.
Hans Sleeswijk was a Dutch sailor, who represented his country at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Naples in the Finn. Sleeswijk took the 24th place. In the previous Olympics in Melbourne Sleeswijk was the spare sailor for the Dutch Olympic team. However, after the Soviet invasion in Hungary the Dutch government decided that the Dutch Olympic team would not compete. He also was a professional television- and theatre-producer, the same as his famous father René sr. and his brother René van Vooren. Sleeswijk died on 1 January 2024, at the age of 88.
Meike de Vlas was a Dutch rower who won a silver medal in the single sculls at the European Championships in 1964. Her husband Hadriaan van Nes and daughter Eeke van Nes are Olympic medalists in rowing.
