Rocky River High School is a high school in Mint Hill, North Carolina; a suburb of Charlotte. Inaugural classes began in the fall of 2010. Its original principal was Mark Nixon, the former principal of East Mecklenburg High School, who was replaced in 2012 by Brandy Nelson. In 2016, Ericia Turner became the new principal. He was also named first-team All-Atlantic 10 for the second year in a row and was named to the All-Defensive Team. Bembry averaged 17.5 points and 7.6 rebounds a game as a junior. He was drafted 21st overall in the 2016 NBA draft by the Atlanta Hawks.
