Geraldo JoséRodrigues Alckmin Filho is a Brazilian physician and politician who has served as the 26th vice president of Brazil since 1 January 2023. He previously served as the Governor of São Paulo in nonconsecutive terms from 2001 to 2006 and from 2011 to 2018,the longest since democratization. He was the candidate of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party for president,losing in 2006 and 2018.
