    The Constituent Cortes of 1820, formal title The General and Extraordinary Cortes of the Portuguese Nation, also frequently known as the Sovereign Congress or the Cortes Constituintes Vintistas, was the first modern Portuguese parliament. Created after the Liberal Revolution of 1820 to prepare a constitution for Portugal and its overseas territories, it used a different system from the traditional General Cortes for choosing representatives, and the three traditional feudal estates no longer sat separately. The Cortes sat between January 24, 1821 and November 4, 1822 at the Palácio das Necessidades in Lisbon. The work of the Constitutional Cortes culminated in the approval of the Portuguese Constitution of 1822.

    The Birthplace of Cesar Zama is a historic residence in Caetité, Bahia, Brazil. It was listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 2008. It is one of the contributing properties to the Historic Center of Caetité, and is noted as the birthplace of César Zama (1837-1906), a Brazilian physician and author. The house covers 412 square metres (4,430 sq ft) and has an upper and lower level with a small attic built on a slope, a model that resembles other houses in Bahia of the same period.

It is located within the Historic Center of Caetité, and is one of many historic houses surrounding the Praça Rodrigues Lima. The square was once home to an 18th-century municipal market, but is now demolished. It is located across the square from the House at Praça Rodrigues Lima, no. 178 and in the middle of a row of houses that include the House at Praça Rodrigues Lima, no. 105. It was listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 2008.

The square was home to a municipal market built in the 18th century, but demolished in 1966. It was listed as a state heritage site by the Institute of Artistic and Cultural Heritage of Bahia in 2008.

    Marco da Fundação da Cidade do Salvador is a monument in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. It is located at the north of the Porto da Barra Beach and directly below the São Diogo Fort. It commemorates the 400th century of the founding of Salvador, and was inaugurated on March 29, 1952. The monument consists of two parts: a limestone pillar, and a mural of azulejos.

TV Sudoeste's studios are located on Fonsecas's Street, in the center of Vitória da Conquista, and its transmitter is located at Santa Ana Street, in the Nossa Senhora Aparecida District.

    Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza, also known mononymously as Jerônimo, is a Brazilian indigenous politician, agricultural professor, and bureaucrat who was elected Governor of Bahia in 2022 election. Winning against ACM Neto in an upset, Jerônimo, a professor at State University of Feira de Santana, became the first self declared indigenous governor in the history of Brazil. He previously served as an advisor in technology to Governor Jaques Wagner, as an advisor to the Rousseff government, and as head of multiple ministries in the government of Rui Costa, rising through the ranks of governmental management. He is a member of the Workers' Party.
