The Indiana Ice was a Tier I junior ice hockey team and member club of the United States Hockey League (USHL) that was formed in 2004 when the Danville Wings were purchased and moved from their location in Danville, Illinois, to Indianapolis, Indiana. The Ice captured the regular season division titles in the 2007–08 and 2013–14 seasons and won the 2009 and 2014 Clark Cup titles. Before the 2012–13 season, the Ice played their home games at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum. From 2012 to 2014, the Ice split their home games between the Bankers Life Fieldhouse and the Pan American Arena. The Ice played in the Eastern Conference/Division of the United States Hockey League.

Gregory Curtis Brown is an American ice hockey coach and a former professional player, most notably for the Buffalo Sabres and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He is currently the head coach of the Boston College Eagles, an NCAA Division I team competing in Hockey East. Previously, Brown was a member of the Eagles coaching staff for fourteen years from 2004–2018, serving as an assistant coach under Jerry York and later alongside him as associate head coach. He also coached under David Quinn with the New York Rangers from 2018–2021 and served as the head coach for the Dubuque Fighting Saints for the 2021–22 USHL season.
Michael Gordon Eaves is an American former National Hockey League (NHL) player and the former head coach of the St. Olaf College men's hockey team and for his alma mater the University of Wisconsin, where he was part of two NCAA National Championship teams with the Badgers. In 2019, he was named the head coach of the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League (AHL), a role he held until 2022.
Jack C. Capuano Jr. is an American ice hockey coach and former player. He is a former head coach of the New York Islanders of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is currently an associate coach for the Minnesota Wild of the National Hockey League (NHL). Capuano played as a defenseman and spent parts of three seasons in the NHL in the late 1980s and early 1990s. He is the older brother of former NHL hockey player Dave Capuano.

Donald Francis Whiston was an American ice hockey player. He won a silver medal at the 1952 Winter Olympics. Afterwards he coached at Brown for three seasons.
The Maine Black Bears women’s ice hockey team represents the University of Maine. The team plays their home games in Alfond Arena. The team's first year of play was in 1997–98. The Black Bears finished 6th in the 2019–2020 season, advancing to the semi-finals of the Hockey East tournament, before losing to the eventual champions Northeastern Huskies by a score of 1–3. The 2020 Hockey East women's ice hockey tournament was cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak, but Maine would not have qualified even if the tournament had been played. Hockey East announced plans in July 2020 to play the 2020–2021 hockey season, with an emphasis on league play.
Frank Serratore is an American ice hockey coach, currently with the Air Force Falcons men's ice hockey team. He formerly coached professional hockey in the International Hockey League with the Minnesota Moose from 1994 to 1996.

J. Allan Soares is a retired American ice hockey player and coach who spent more than 15 years involved with Brown. After starring for the bears as a defenseman, Soares coached the freshman for seven seasons before replacing his former head coach James Fullerton in 1970. he left after 1974 to pursue a career in business but later coached Roger Williams College.
Richard Toomey is an American former professional ice hockey player and coach who led Brown for four seasons in the mid-1970s.
Paul Schilling is a retired American ice hockey player and coach who led Brown for four seasons in the mid-1970s. He replaced Richard Toomey who was a teammate of his on the US National Team in 1971.
Herbert B. Hammond was an American ice hockey coach and scout who led Brown for six seasons before beginning a professional career in the NHL. Hammond started coaching at Oswego State in 1968 and remained there for 12 years before moving on to Plattsburgh State. He took the Cardinals to the NCAA Division II National Title Game both years he was there and soon was offered the head coaching job at Brown. After six poor years Hammond left to become an NHL scout for 17 years and had his name etched on the Stanley Cup as part of the New York Rangers win in 1994 Stanley Cup Finals. Hammond died in 2009 after a long fight with cancer.
Bob Gaudet is an American ice hockey coach who served as the head coach at Dartmouth from 1997 until 2020.
Brendan Whittet is an American ice hockey coach who has been the head coach at Brown since 2009. Whittet graduated from Brown in 1994 before embarking on a coaching career at several colleges in New England. After 14 years as an assistant Whittet returned to his alma mater to assume the reins in 2009–10, a position he still holds. He lives in Barrington, Rhode Island with his family.
The Arizona State Sun Devils men's ice hockey team is the college ice hockey team that represents Arizona State University. It plays its home games at Mullett Arena in Tempe.
