The Diocese of Ibiza (Latin : Dioecesis Ebusitanus) is a diocese of the Catholic Church comprising Ibiza and Formentera situated in the Balearic Islands and located in the ecclesiastical province of Valencia, Spain.

History

• 30 April 1782: established as Diocese of Ibiza from the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Tarragona
• 1851: suppressed under the Diocese of Majorca
• 1927: restored autonomy with the Apostolic Administration of Ibiza
• 1949: created as the Diocese of Ibiza suo jure. ^[1]
