Romsdals Budstikke is a daily (except Sundays) newspaper published in Molde, Norway.
Romsdals Budstikke was established in 1843. Politically the paper is liberal and used to be a newspaper for the Liberal Party, but has been independent since 1973. The coverage area includes Molde, Rauma, Vestnes, Midsund, Aukra, Sandøy, Nesset, Eide, Gjemnes, and Fræna. [1]
Mecom owned Romsdals Budstikke until February 2009, when it was sold to the Polaris Media. [2]
In the 1970s, the paper won a circulation war with its local competitor, Romsdal Folkeblad . [3] In 2013 Romsdals Budstikke was named Newspaper of the Year in Norway. [4]
Romsdals Budstikke had an all-time high circulation of 19,004 in 1999. [5] In 2008 the circulation was 18,648. [1] Its circulation was 12,632 copies and 14,903 digital subscribers in 2017 [5] and 11,725 copies and 15,798 digital subscribers in 2019. [6]

Molde were defending champions in Tippeligaen and played through qualification for UEFA Champions League. Molde entered the Champions League in the second qualifying round, where they eliminated Ventspils before and facing Basel of Switzerland in the third qualifying round. They lost 1–2 on aggregate and were knocked out, dropping down into the Play off round of the UEFA Europa League. Molde successfully defended their title on 11 November 2012, when they beat Hønefoss 1–0, whilst their closest title challengers, Strømsgodset lost 2–1 away to Sandnes Ulf.

Molde Fotballklubb is a football club from Molde, Norway. It was established in 1911 as International by a group of people gathered by Klaus Daae Andersen. After permission was granted, it took the current name and joined the league system in 1928. Until 1937, Molde played in regional leagues, after numerous promotions and relegations. Since 1930, the team has played in the Norwegian Football Cup. In 1939, the club joined the third season of the League of Norway, the top division, but the break-out of the World War II caused a halt to all organized sports and thus this season was never completed.
