Ronald Tree (born 8 April 1963 in Leeds, England) is an English musician and songwriter, best known as frontman and bassist for the English space rock band Hawkwind from 1995 to 2002. He also played both these roles in the reunited Steve Took's Horns in 2002, taking the place of Steve Peregrin Took. He later became the vocalist/songwriter in the Hawklords, alongside Jerry Richards, Harvey Bainbridge, Dave Pearce and Tom Ashurst.
Prior to joining Hawkwind, Tree played with 2000DS, Plato's Jacuzzi, Captain Jesus and the Sunray Dream (who released two limited-edition "private press" LPs), and his own band, Bastard. He contributed vocals and bass to Bajina in 2000, with Dino Ferari (drums) and Judge Trev Thoms (lead guitar). Also with Ferari and Thoms, he recorded two new tracks for the Steve Took's Horns album, Blow It!!!, the main body of which was recorded in 1977 at Pathway Studios, London, by Took with Ferari and Thoms; that album was released on 10 August 2004. After these musical excursions he contributed vocals and bass for Thoms (lead guitar and vocals), Jim Hawkman (synthesizer), and John Morgan (drums) with the Mother Of All Bands (M.O.A.B.).
Since then, amongst other various musical projects, he has played with the Leeds-based band The Sewer Suckers, who supported bands such as My Older Ego in his home town. Hawklords have annually released an album, namely; We Are One (2012), Dream (2013), Censored (2014), Re:volution (2015), Fusion (2016) and Six (2017); although Tree did not appear on the latter. [1]
Hawkwind are an English rock band known as one of the earliest space rock groups. Since their formation in November 1969, Hawkwind have gone through many incarnations and have incorporated many different styles into their music, including hard rock, progressive rock and psychedelic rock. They are also regarded as an influential proto-punk band. Their lyrics favour urban and science fiction themes.

Steve Peregrin Took was an English musician and songwriter, best known for his membership of the duo Tyrannosaurus Rex with Marc Bolan. After breaking with Bolan, he concentrated on his own singer-songwriting activities, either as a solo artist or as a frontman for several bands.

Dino Ferari is an Italian drummer who has worked with a number of British bands. He played with former Tyrannosaurus Rex percussionist Steve Peregrin Took's band Steve Took's Horns alongside Trev Thoms on guitar. After The Horns both Thoms and Ferari joined former Hawkwind saxophonist Nik Turner in Inner City Unit.

25 Years On is the eighth studio album by the English rock band Hawkwind, released in 1978. The band released it under the name "Hawklords" for legal reasons, as there was a dispute over ownership of the name "Hawkwind" at the time. It reached No. 48 on the UK album charts. It was originally titled 25 Years On and the first 25000 were pressed as this until the band decided to simply call it Hawklords. Subsequent re-releases have reverted to the name 25 Years On and the band also now use this name on their website.
Steve Took's Horns was an English rock band with blues rock and punk influences formed in 1977 by former Tyrannosaurus Rex percussionist turned solo artist Steve Peregrin Took together with Trev Thoms, later of Nik Turner's Inner City Unit. The band was the first in which Thoms worked with his future Inner City Unit bandmate Ermanno Ghisio Erba aka Dino Ferari, in what would be a long string of collaborations until Thoms' death in 2010. A 2004 posthumous album of the band was reviewed in Classic Rock magazine, a 1978 live performance was reviewed in Melody Maker, the band's 1977 recording session was described at length in a Forced Exposure interview with eyewitness Larry Wallis and the band was euologised in a Record Collector article about Took written by Luke Haines.
Harvey Frederick Bainbridge is an English bass and keyboard player. He is best known as the bass player and keyboard player in Hawkwind.
Atomgods were a UK heavy rock band from late 1980s. The band were formed by former Inner City Unit guitarist Judge Trev Thoms, the first recording lineup consisting of Hiro Sasaki and Kofi Baker. They were signed to GWR Records producing the 1988 album WOW! and the 1991 album History Re-Written.
