Ronald Hertog (born 13 January 1989 in Moordrecht, now merged into Zuidplas) is a Dutch amputee and Paralympic javelin thrower. [1] He was selected to be his nation's flag-bearer at the 2012 Summer Paralympics. [2]

Marlou van Rhijn is a retired professional Dutch former professional sprint runner. Van Rhijn, who was born without lower legs, is the world record holder for T43 in the 100 and 200 metres events and ran with the aid of carbon fibre transtibial artificial limbs. She competed in T44 events though she was classified in T43. She announced her retirement in June 2021.
Peter Genyn is a Paralympian sportsman from Belgium. Initially Genyn competed as a wheelchair rugby player before switching to track and field athletics in 2014 where he competes in category T51 sprint events. In 2016 he became the world record holder in the T51 men's 400 metres sprint.
Marieke Vervoort was a Belgian Paralympic athlete with reflex sympathetic dystrophy. She won several medals at the Paralympics, and she received worldwide attention in 2016 when she revealed that she was considering euthanasia.
