Shillong Lajong FC is an Indian professional football club based in Shillong, Meghalaya. The club is currently competing in I-League 2, the third tier of Indian football league system, alongside Shillong Premier League.
This season marks the addition of four new teams, with Lajong SSC, Pune FC, Salgaocar Sports Club and Viva Kerala are confirmed to participate in the I-League.
