1492: Conquest of Paradise is a 1992 music score to the film of the same name by Greek electronic composer and artist Vangelis. The film, a recount of the voyage to America in 1492 by Christopher Columbus, was directed by Ridley Scott, for whom Vangelis had previously composed the music score for Blade Runner, in 1982. The album and the single "Conquest of Paradise" enjoyed a revival in 1995 for various reasons and broke many sales records.
Outrospective is the third album by Faithless, released on 18 June 2001. It is the follow-up to Sunday 8PM and the predecessor to No Roots. The single "We Come 1" had the most success, charting at number 3 on the UK Singles Chart, while "One Step Too Far" with vocals from Dido charted at number 6, and both "Muhammad Ali" and "Tarantula" charted at number 29. The album itself reached number 6 on the UK Albums Chart. The cover photograph was taken during the May 1968 students uprisings in Paris, France. In the cover booklet of Forever Faithless – The Greatest Hits, Rollo Armstrong has stated that despite Outrospective being their biggest selling album in the UK, it is, however, his least favourite.
Paint the Sky with Stars: The Best of Enya is the first greatest hits album by Irish singer, songwriter and musician Enya, released on 3 November 1997 by WEA. Following her worldwide promotional tour in support of her previous album The Memory of Trees (1995), Enya began selecting tracks for a compilation album in early 1997, as her recording contract with WEA permitted her to do so. The album contains songs from her debut album Enya (1987) to The Memory of Trees (1995) and two new tracks, "Paint the Sky with Stars" and "Only If...".

Time Flies is the third studio album by Vaya Con Dios, who were at this point mostly a one-woman band. Even more than the previous albums, this is a melancholic album and is more blues and soul oriented. The reason for the theme is because Vaya Con Dios was mainly the partnership of Dani Klein and Dirk Schoufs and in 1991 the pair fell out badly. On 24 May 1991 Schoufs, who was only 29, died of a cocktail of medication, drugs and alcohol.

It was the group's first and only album to be released in the United States, where it charted at number 167 on the Billboard 200. Where We Belong is also the third and final studio album Boyzone released before the death of Stephen Gately, 11 years later.
