Delta State is a state in the South-South geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Named after the Niger Delta—a large part of which is in the state—the state was formed from the former Bendel State on August 27,1991. Bordered on the north by Edo State,the east by Anambra and Rivers States,and the south by Bayelsa State while to the west is the Bight of Benin which covers about 160 kilometres of the state's coastline. The State was initially created with 12 local government areas in 1991 which was later extended to 19 and now has 25 local government areas. Asaba as its state capital is located along the River Niger on the northeastern end of the State,while the state's economic centre is Warri on the southwestern coastline.
There are various levels of judiciary in England and Wales —different types of courts have different styles of judges. They also form a strict hierarchy of importance,in line with the order of the courts in which they sit,so that judges of the Court of Appeal of England and Wales are generally given more weight than district judges sitting in county courts and magistrates' courts. On 1 April 2020 there were 3,174 judges in post in England and Wales. Some judges with United Kingdom-wide jurisdiction also sit in England and Wales,particularly Justices of the United Kingdom Supreme Court and members of the tribunals judiciary.
The Supreme Court is the highest court in the Kingdom of Spain. Originally established pursuant to Title V of the Constitution of 1812 to replace —in all matters that affected justice—the System of Councils,and currently regulated by Title VI of the Constitution of 1978,it has original jurisdiction over cases against high-ranking officials of the Kingdom and over cases regarding illegalization of political parties. It also has ultimate appellate jurisdiction over all cases. The Court has the power of judicial review,except for the judicial revision on constitutional matters,reserved to the Constitutional Court.
Dr. Emmanuel Eweta Uduaghan was the Governor of Delta State from 2007 to 2015. He assumed office via an inconclusive election on 29 May 2007 and was a member of the People's Democratic Party (PDP). A medical doctor by profession,prior to becoming governor,he was the Commissioner for Health,Delta State and the Secretary to the State Government. Dr. Uduaghan ran again for governor in the 26 April 2011 elections,and was re-elected.
Alaowei Broderick Bozimo is a Nigerian lawyer who was appointed Minister of Police Affairs by President Olusegun Obasanjo in July 2003. In January 2007 the Ministries of Police Affairs and Internal Affairs were merged into the new Ministry of the Interior,and Bozimo became a Minister of State in the new ministry.
Justice Victor Ovie Whisky was chairman of the Federal Electoral Commission (FEDECO) appointed by President Shehu Shagari during the Nigerian Second Republic. He held office from 1980 to 1983.

The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) of Kenya is an independent Commission established under Article 171 of the Constitution of Kenya. Its mandate as stipulated in Article 172 of the Constitution is to promote and facilitate the independence and accountability of the Judiciary and the efficient,effective and transparent administration of justice. The commission has 11 members with the initial team appointed in December 2010.
The Judiciary of Sri Lanka are the civil and criminal courts responsible for the administration of justice in Sri Lanka. Daisy Wotube Okocha served as the 7th Chief Judge of Rivers State,in charge of the state's High Court of Justice,and Judicial Service Commission. She was appointed to the office by Governor Ezenwo Wike on 4 January 2016,and held it until her retirement on 15 January 2016. She had also served as Chief Judge in an acting capacity before attaining the substantive appointment.
Lagos State Government is the government of Lagos State,concerned with the administration of the state ministries. The government consists of the executive,legislative and Judiciary. The government is headed by the Governor who is the policy-maker and often assisted by the commissioners and other civil servants of the state.

Franklin Oritse-Mueyiwa Atake known by his initials FOM Atake was a Nigerian Jurist and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria from 1979 to 1983 during the Nigerian Second Republic.
Kazeem Olanrewaju Alogba is a Nigerian jurist and the current chief judge of Lagos State. He was appointed by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in June 2019 as the 17th chief justice of the state.
