Rosette Kajungu Mutambi (born October 26, 1964) is a Ugandan professional social worker and journalist, a politician and legislator who represents the people of Mbarara district as district woman representative in the Parliament of Uganda. [1] She is a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) party, [2] the party in political leadership in Uganda under the chairmanship of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni president of the republic of Uganda. [3]
Kajungu Mutambi studied her O'level education from Maryhill High School where she undertook her Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) in 1981. She later enrolled at Bweranyangi Girls' Senior Secondary School for her A'level education and did the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) examinations in 1984 thereafter joining Makerere University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in arts in 1988. She earned a certificate in public relations from (MTAC) Nakawa in 1992 and added a diploma in journalism in 1993 from Uganda Management Institute (UMI). She later pursued an advanced certificate in journalism from the International Institute for Journalism Berlin in 1996 and added a postgraduate diploma in management from the University of Leicester in 2008. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in social sector planning and management from Makerere University. [4]
Kajungu Mutambi was the founder/executive director of HEPS Uganda coalition for health promotion from 2000 to 2016,. [5] She was a volunteer coordinator of Health Action east Africa from 1998 to 2000 and was information officer in the ministry of information and broadcasting/office of the president from 1990 to 1998. Between 1994 and 1996, Kajungu Mutambi was deputy manager, AIDS control programme, was a research assistant at Recon Uganda limited from 1987 to 1989, and was a community health consultant from 2002 to date. She is currently a woman member of parliament of Uganda since 2016. [6] In parliament, she serves on the committee on local government accounts and the committee on health. She is a member of Uganda Women Parliamentary Association (UWOPA) where she is the chairperson of the succession act round table committee. [7]
Kajungu Mutambi has membership in professional bodies; Uganda media women association as a full member and an associate member in the Association of social workers.
Mariam Naigaga is a Ugandan banker, statistician and politician. She is the elected Woman Representative for Namutumba District in the 10th Parliament and is a member of NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. She serves on the special Presidential Advisory Committee on Budget (PACOB) and is a member of the Budget Committee and the Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development in Parliament.
Rosemary Bikaako Tumusiime is a Ugandan marketing professional, public administrator, feminist and politician. She is the elected Member of Parliament for Entebbe Municipality and is a representative for NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. She is the first female representative for the constituency in over three decades and succeeded Muhammad Kawuma who served for two consecutive terms from 2006 to 2016. In the 10th Parliament, she serves as a member of the Committee on Equal Opportunities and the Committee on Presidential Affairs. She is also a member of the NRM Parliamentary Caucus, the Buganda Parliamentary Caucusand the treasurer of the Network for African Women Ministers and Parliamentarians (NAWMP).
Isaac Mulindwa Ssozi is a Ugandan procurement specialist, logistician and politician. He is the elected member of parliament for Lugazi Municipality, Buikwe District, and a representative for NRM, the ruling political party in Uganda. He is a member of the NRM Parliamentary Caucus and serves on the Committee on Equal Opportunities and the Committee on Finance, Planning and Economic Development in the 10th Parliament of Uganda.
Emma Boona is a Ugandan teacher, public administrator and politician. She is the former woman representative for Mbarara District in the 8th & 9th parliaments and is a member of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), the ruling political party in Uganda.
Molly Lanyero is a Ugandan politician who was elected to the 10th Parliament (2016-2021), as a District Woman Representative representing Lamwo District.

She is a member of the National Resistance Movement and the Chairperson Of The Presidential Affairs (NRM), the ruling political party in Uganda under the chairmanship of Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa, the current president of the Republic of Uganda. In the 2021 Uganda general elections, Ababiku retained her seat democratically for the third time as women member of parliament for Adjumani district since 2011.

Pamela Nasiyo Kamugo is a Ugandan social worker and legislator. As of April 2020, she has served as the elected woman member of parliament for Budaka district in the tenth Parliament of Uganda and eleventh Parliament of Uganda. She is affiliated with the National Resistance Movement, the ruling party of Uganda led by Yoweri Museveni, the country's president
Stella Namoe Nyomera, commonly referred to as Namoe Stella Nyomera is a female Ugandan politician and social scientist. She belongs to the ruling National Resistance Movement party serving as the District Woman Representative for Napak District in Uganda's 10th Parliament, a positioned she occupied since 2006.
Safia Juuko Nalule is a Ugandan Disability Rights activist ,politician and legislator who served as the elected woman representative for People with Disabilities, Central Region, Uganda in Uganda's tenth parliament. In April 2021, she was appointed Chairperson of Uganda Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC). Politically, she is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement under whose ticket she contested in the 2016 general elections.
Rosemary Nyakikongoro is a Ugandan politician. She was an independent women's representative for Sheema District in Uganda's ninth Parliament (2011-2016). In the 2021 general election, she was re-elected as women's representative for Sheema District, this time standing on the National Resistance Movement ticket.
Hellen Asamo also known as Asamo Hellen Grace is a Ugandan teacher and a representative of people with disabilities for Eastern region who served in the ninth and tenth Parliaments of Uganda. She won the 2021 general elections for her position as the representative of people with disabilities for Eastern region. Hellen is affiliated to the National Resistance Movement political party.
Peace Kusasira also referred to as Kusasira Peace Kanyesigye Mubiru is a female Ugandan politician and social worker. She is the district woman representative of Mukono District under the National Resistance Movement political party. She served as the MP in the tenth, and ninth parliament and lost in the 2021–2026 elections. In the ninth parliament, Peace Kusasira, took the seat from outgoing MP, Margaret Nalugo.
Hope Nakazibwe Grania is a Ugandan politician, and laboratory scientist. She is the current woman member of parliament Mubende District. Hope is married to Dr Andrew Abaasa.
