Rowley Regis Community Hospital is a hospital in Rowley Regis, West Midlands, England. It is managed by the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust.
The hospital was opened by the Duchess of Kent in 1994. [1] Rowley Regis Hospital along with City Hospital, Birmingham and Sandwell General Hospital, West Bromwich formed the Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust in 2002. [2] The Chancellor of the Exchequer, George Osborne, visited the hospital in July 2014. [3]

The Rowley Hills are a range of hills in the West Midlands county in England. The range comprises Turner's Hill, Bury Hill, Portway Hill and Darby's Hill. The ridge forms part of the east/west watershed between the River Severn and the River Trent, with rainfall on the western side going to the Bristol Channel via the Severn, and rainfall on the eastern side ending up in the North Sea via the Trent. The hills are situated east of the town of Dudley in Rowley Regis, on the border between the metropolitan boroughs of Dudley and Sandwell.

Midland Metropolitan University Hospital is a new acute general hospital being built on a 16 acres site in Grove Lane at Smethwick near Birmingham. The hospital was designed by a team led by HKS and including Edward Williams Architects and Sonnemann Toon Architects. Already behind its original target completion date of October 2018, it was being built by Carillion. However, the company went into liquidation in January 2018, causing the PFI contract to be terminated. This, plus later materials and manpower shortages, delayed the hospital's completion until, potentially, Spring 2024.
