Indonesia, officially the Republic of Indonesia, is a Island country in Southeast Asia and Oceania between the Indian and Pacific oceans. Jemaah Islamiyah is a Southeast Asian Islamist militant group based in Indonesia, which is dedicated to the establishment of an Islamic state in Southeast Asia. On 25 October 2002, immediately following the JI-perpetrated Bali bombing, JI was added to the UN Security Council Resolution 1267 as a terrorist group linked to Al-Qaeda or the Taliban.
Garuda Indonesia is the flag carrier of Indonesia, headquartered at Soekarno–Hatta International Airport. The 2014 Indonesia Super League was the sixth season of the Indonesia Super League (ISL), a fully professional football competition as the top tier of the football league pyramid in Indonesia. Gregoria Mariska Tunjung Cahyaningsih is an Indonesian badminton player in women's singles. She started her career at the badminton club PB Mutiara Cardinal in Bandung, West Java, and was called to the national team in 2013. She was the girl's singles champion at the 2017 World Junior Championships. Tunjung also captained the Indonesia women's team at the 2022 Asia Team Championships, where they became champions.
Liga 1, also known as BRI Liga 1 for sponsorship reasons with Bank Rakyat Indonesia, is the men's top professional football division of the Indonesian football league system. Administered by the PT Liga Indonesia Baru, Liga 1 is contested by 18 clubs and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Liga 2.
