The Royal Yacht Club Hollandia (Dutch : Koninklijke Zeil- & Roeivereniging Hollandia) often abbreviated to the term KZ&RV Hollandia is a Dutch yacht club and rowing club located in Medemblik in the Netherlands. [1]
The yacht club was founded on the 21 June 1882 in Alphen and later moved to Medemblik in 1964. [2] The predicate 'Royal' was bestowed in 1957. Both the Rowing and Sailing sides of the club have hosted international competition. The sailing side notably hosting World Championship including the Finn, Soling, ILCA, Flying Dutchman, [3] Youth Worlds and many more.
The club benefits form having access to the Regatta Centre Medemblik a purpose build sailing facililty used for the olympic squad and hosting international events. [4]

The event took place on the IJsselmeer of Medemblik, the Netherlands, from 20 September to 27 September 2008. A total of 66 sailors in 47 boats from 17 countries showed up to compete in six Vintage Yachting Classes

Matthew Bugg is an Australian sailor. He represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Paralympics in the 2.4mR class sailing event. He won a bronze medal at the 2015 IFDS World Championships. He won a silver medal in the 2.4mR at the 2016 Rio Paralympics.
Rudy den Outer is a sailor from the Netherlands, who represented his country at the 2008 Vintage Yachting Games in Medemblik, as helmsman in the Dutch Soling Sophie's Choice. Den Outer with crew members Leo Determan and Ronald den Arend took the Gold. In the 2012 Vintage Yachting Games, this time with crew members Gavin Lidlow and Ramzi Souli the team took the Silver medal in Bellano, Italy. In 2003 with helmsman Fred Imhoff and Richard van Rij he became European Champion in the Dragon at Kinsale, Ireland. Den Outer is also very active in the organization of major International Sailing events for Olympic and former Olympic classes.

Roger Hudson is a South African sailor, who specialized in two-person dinghy (470) class. He represented South Africa, along with his trainee and partner Asenathi Jim, at the 2012 Summer Olympics, and has also been training throughout most of his sporting career for RaceAhead Yacht Club, under his personal coach and father Dave Hudson, who competed in the Flying Dutchman class at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona. As of June 2015, Hudson is ranked twentieth in the world for the two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation, despite his remarkable triumphs at the 2014 Delta Lloyd Regatta in Medemblik, Netherlands.

Leo holds several Dutch titles and one Italian title (2010) in the Soling. He used to be member of Yacht Club VZOD, Rotterdam.
