Rozi Plain is a London-based musician originally from Winchester, England. [1]
Rozi Plain was born Rosalind Leyden in Winchester, England, in 1986. In 2006 she moved to Bristol to study art, and she participated in the Cleaner Records group there. She recorded two records published by King Creosote’s Fence Records, Inside Over Here (2008) and Joined Sometimes Unjoined (2012). In 2012 she moved to London. [2] [1]
In November 2012 she recorded a live session for Lauren Laverne's BBC Radio 6 Music show. [3]
In 2015 Plain released a new album, Friend, followed in 2016 by a companion album of remixes, unreleased tracks and radio sessions, Friend Of A Friend. [4] In 2019 she released What a Boost and in 2020 What a Remix.
She is a member of This Is the Kit and regularly contributes[ when? ] to the music of her friends, including Rachael Dadd, François & the Atlas Mountains, [4] and Bamboo, with whom she has performed live on a number of occasions in 2016.
Plain has toured with the likes of Devendra Banhart, [5] KT Tunstall [6] and Paramore, as well as performing at Green Man Festival [7] and End of the Road Festival. [8]
Devendra Obi Banhart is an American-Venezuelan singer-songwriter and visual artist. Banhart was born in Texas, and raised in Venezuela and California. In 2000, he dropped out of the San Francisco Art Institute to pursue a musical career. In 2002, Banhart released his debut album and is best known for his albums in the late 2000s such as Cripple Crow and Smokey Rolls Down Thunder Canyon. He has since expanded his career to incorporate his interest and training in the visual arts.
Lauren Cecilia Fisher, known professionally as Lauren Laverne, is an English radio DJ, model, television presenter, author and singer. She was the lead singer and additional guitarist in the alternative rock band Kenickie. The group's album At The Club reached the top 10, although her greatest chart success came when she performed vocals on Mint Royale's single "Don't Falter". Laverne has presented numerous television programmes, including 10 O'Clock Live for Channel 4, and The Culture Show and coverage of the Glastonbury Festival for the BBC. She has also written a published novel entitled Candypop: Candy and the Broken Biscuits. She presents the breakfast show on BBC Radio 6 Music, and in 2018 became the host of the long-running radio show Desert Island Discs.
Jennifer Vashti Bunyan is an English singer-songwriter. She began her career in the mid-1960s and released a debut album, Just Another Diamond Day, in 1970. The album sold very few copies and Bunyan, discouraged, abandoned her musical career. By 2000, her album had acquired a cult following; it was re-released and Bunyan recorded more songs, initiating the second phase of her musical career after a gap of thirty years. She released two more albums: Lookaftering in 2005, and Heartleap in 2014.
Kate Victoria "KT" Tunstall is a Scottish singer-songwriter and musician. She first gained attention with a 2004 live solo performance of her song "Black Horse and the Cherry Tree" on Later... with Jools Holland. Karen J. Dalton was an American country blues singer, guitarist, and banjo player. Johnny Lynch is a Scottish musician who performs under the pseudonym The Pictish Trail. After graduation from the University of St Andrews, Lynch ran Fence Records from 2003 until 2013 and has since been running Lost Map Records. Lynch has attended and played every Green Man Festival since its inception in 2003. He's also played as band member with other musicians, including James Yorkston and Malcolm Middleton. In 2010 he released an album and toured with Adem Ilhan under the name Silver Columns.
Kid Canaveral was a Scottish alternative pop band that formed in St Andrews in Fife, Scotland, but are now based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Since 2007 the band have released a number of well received singles, an E.P. and an album on their own label, Straight to Video Records, and in 2011 they signed with Scottish independent label Fence Records. The band left Fence Records to join Johnny Lynch on his new label Lost Map Records in August 2013. The band have received praise for their pop hooks and melodies, and their energetic and engaging live performances. Their second record Now That You Are a Dancer was nominated for the 2014 Scottish Album of the Year Award. The group released their third record Faulty Inner Dialogue, via Lost Map Records, on 29 July 2016.

"Invisible Empire" is a single by Scottish recording artist KT Tunstall. It was released as the third single from her fourth studio album Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon, on 19 August 2013 through iTunes, Amazon and other platforms. The cover for the single depicts Tunstall wearing medieval outfits, holding a rusting crown in front of the sea. The song was first played live in 2012 in a concert with Daryl Hall, and then, it was played a few weeks before the album release on the Jools Holland show and on some radios. A music video premiered on 30 July 2013, and was acclaimed by critics for its Game of Thrones medieval style.
"Made of Glass" is the fourth and last single from KT Tunstall's Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon. The song is an acoustic ballad dealing with death and fragility of life, since the album deals with mortality. The song was first played acoustically on radio with Jo Whiley on 13 May 2013 along with "Feel It All" and "Invisible Empire", the two previous singles from the album. A music video was released on 11 November 2013.

It was released on 9 September 2016 worldwide, following up her previous album, the folk-toned Invisible Empire // Crescent Moon. It was preceded by the Golden State EP, which included one of the songs from the album, "Evil Eye". The album was produced by Tony Hoffer in a studio in Los Angeles.
