Ruben Mendoza is a strength and conditioning coach and a former guard in the National Football League.
Mendoza was born Ruben Edward Mendoza on May 10, 1963 in Crystal City, Texas. [1] He is married with five children. [2]
Mendoza played at the collegiate level at Wayne State College and the now-defunct Yankton College. [3] He played with the Green Bay Packers during the 1986 NFL season. [4]
Mendoza's first coaching experience was as a graduate assistant at the University of South Carolina. Following his time there he spent a season at Presbyterian College, where he was an assistant strength coach and also coached the defensive line on the school's football team. Four years as the Coordinator of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga before moving to Clemson University to serve as Assistant Director of Strength and Conditioning. Mendoza later spent four years as Director of Strength and Conditioning at the University of Mississippi before being named Strength and Conditioning Coordinator at the University of Notre Dame. He is now the head strength and conditioning coach at Wayne State University in Detroit. [5]
Earl Louis "Curly" Lambeau was an American professional football player and coach in the National Football League (NFL). Lambeau, along with his friend and fellow Green Bay, Wisconsin, native George Whitney Calhoun, founded the Green Bay Packers in 1919. He served as team captain in the team's first year before becoming player-coach in 1920. As a player, Lambeau lined up as a halfback, which in the early years of the NFL was the premier position. He was the team's primary runner and passer, accounting for 35 touchdowns in 77 games. He won his only NFL championship as a player in 1929.

He was the head coach for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 1961 to 1965, compiling a record of 16–27–2, and for the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League (NFL) from 1986 to 1991, tallying a mark of 52–43 in the regular season, and 3–3 in the postseason. Between his head coaching stints Burns was a defensive assistant (1965–1967) for the Green Bay Packers, helping the team win Super Bowls I and II, and Offensive Coordinator (1968–1985) for the Minnesota Vikings, where he coached the team to four Super Bowl appearances.

DeShone Allen Kizer is an American former professional football quarterback in the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the second round of the 2017 NFL draft. Kizer served as the Browns' starter during his rookie season, but his tenure lasted only one year after going winless and leading the league in interceptions. Traded to the Green Bay Packers, Kizer spent one season as a backup in 2018 and also held backup roles with the Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans. Having never started a game after his first season with the Browns, Kizer lost all 15 of his starts during his time in the NFL.
Taver Johnson is an American football coach who is an assistant defensive backs coach for the Philadelphia Eagles. He previously served as an assistant coach for the Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders of the NFL and spent 23 years coaching in the college football ranks. Johnson attended and played college football at Wittenberg University (1990–1993), where he was a back-to-back All-American and the All-North Coast Atlantic Conference Defensive Player of the Year in 1992 and 1993.
Jack Vainisi was an American scout and personnel director for the Green Bay Packers from 1950 to 1960. At the age of 23, he was hired by Packers head coach Gene Ronzani to lead the team's player personnel department. In a time when most professional football teams relied on the media for information on college players, Vainisi enlisted college coaches to provide scouting reports on not only their own players, but also opposition players. During his time in charge of player personnel, the Packers drafted or acquired eight future Pro Football Hall of Fame players. Vainisi also was instrumental in attracting Vince Lombardi to the vacant head coaching job in Green Bay in 1959. Vainisi did not live to see the success of the teams he helped assemble though, as he died from a heart attack in 1960 at the age of 33.
