Rudi Simon (born 23 March 1946) is a Belgian middle-distance runner. He competed in the men's 1500 metres at the 1968 Summer Olympics. [1]

The Olympisch Stadion or Kielstadion was built as the main stadium for the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp. For those games, it hosted the athletics, equestrian, field hockey, football, gymnastics, modern pentathlon, rugby union, tug of war, weightlifting and korfball (demonstration) events. Adolfo Horta was a Cuban amateur boxer, who won the silver medal in the Men's Featherweight division at age 22 at the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow. He was beaten by East Germany's Rudi Fink on points (1-4). Horta won eleven consecutive national championships and three gold medals in the World Amateur Boxing Championships in different weight classes, but he would never return to the Olympics, as Cuba boycotted the 1984 Summer Olympics.

Rudi Fink is a retired boxer, who won the gold medal in the featherweight division (−57 kg) for East Germany at the 1980 Summer Olympics.

Germany was represented at the 1956 Summer Olympics by a United Team of Germany of athletes from the Federal Republic of Germany (FRG) and, for the first time at Summer Games, also from East Germany which had not joined in 1952. Rudolf "Rudi" Kopp was a West German cross-country skier who competed in the 1950s. He was born in Rabenstein. He finished 64th in the 18 km event at the 1952 Winter Olympics in Oslo. He also competed at the 1956 Winter Olympics. Kopp died on 29 January 2022, at the age of 95.

Angelika Hellmann is a retired German gymnast. She competed at the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics in all artistic gymnastics events and won a silver and a bronze medal in the team competitions, respectively. Her best individual results were fifth place in the floor exercise in 1972 and on the balance beam in 1976. She won two more silver medals with the East German team, and an individual all-around bronze, at the world championships in 1970 and 1974. At the European championships, she won three medals in 1971 and 1973, in the vault and uneven bars.
