The Rugao Olympic Sports Center is a sports complex in Rugao, Jiangsu, China. It is the home of Chinese Super League club Nantong Zhiyun. It was approved as a major project by both the Jiangsu Provincial Development and Reform Commission and the Jiangsu Provincial Sports Bureau. It was constructed as part of the city's "Eleventh Five-Year Plan". [1]
Construction of the Rugao Olympic Sports Center began in November 2011 and was completed in March 2014. The project was designed by the Jiangsu Provincial Architectural Design Institute. [2] [3]

Nantong Zhiyun Football Club is a Chinese professional football club based in Rugao, Jiangsu, that competes in China League One, the second tier of Chinese football. Nantong Zhiyun plays its home matches at the Rugao Olympic Sports Center, located within Rugao. The club was founded on 13 March 2016 by Fan Bing with the support from the Rugao and Nantong municipal governments, and the Jiangsu provincial government. The club name Zhiyun derives from Zhiyun Tower, a tower of historic significance in Nantong, and is depicted on its club badge.
