Rumesh Buddika Muthukumarana (born 14 November 1990) is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He is a left-handed batsman and right-arm off-break bowler who currently plays for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club. He was born in Matara District and had his education at Mahinda College,Galle,where he started his cricket career.
He represented Sri Lanka in the 2010 ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup,which was held in New Zealand. Buddika,who played in the 2008 Under-23 tournament for Chilaw Marians,joined Ragama Cricket Club in 2009,with whom he reached the semi-finals of the same competition with their representative Under-23 team. Buddika made his List A debut in the Premier Limited Overs Tournament in 2009–10,against Colts. He later represented Tamil Union cricket club for few seasons,before moving to Galle Cricket Club in 2015/ 2016 season.
Rumesh has scored over 6000 first class runs including 16 hundreds. His career best performance is 239 not out for Tamil Union against Moors in 2014. [1] He currently averages over 40 in first class cricket and is one of the most consistent performers in Sri Lankan club cricket. Rumesh Buddika also holds the Galle Cricket Club's record for the highest individual score by a batsman in first class cricket. [2]
In March 2018,he was named in Galle's squad for the 2017–18 Super Four Provincial Tournament. [3] [4] He was the leading run-scorer for Burgher Recreation Club in the 2018–19 Premier League Tournament,with 781 runs in nine matches. [5] He is also a former captain of the Sri Lankan Development Emerging Team.
The Major League Tournament is the main domestic first-class cricket competition in Sri Lanka. It was established in 1938 and has existed under a number of different names. Matches before the 1988–89 season are not considered first-class. Relaunched as the Lakspray Trophy in 1988–89,it was renamed as the P. Saravanamuttu Trophy in 1990–91 and as the Premier Championship in 1998–99. There was a change of format in 2015–16 when it became the Premier League Tournament which was split into Tiers A and B the following year.

Gampalage Shehan Naveendra De Fonseka Gunawarna Jayasuriya,or commonly Shehan Jayasuriya,is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer,who played for Chilaw Marians in Sri Lankan domestic cricket. He is a quick-scoring left-handed batsman and a right-arm off-break bowler. He was born in Colombo,and attended Prince of Wales College,Moratuwa. He announced his retirement from all forms of cricket in Sri Lanka on 8 January 2021 because of him moving to United States with his family.
Dharshanapriya Sandun Weerakkody is a professional Sri Lankan cricketer,plays for One Day Internationals for Sri Lanka. Weerakkody is a past pupil of Dharmaraja College,Kandy. A left-handed batsman and a wicketkeeper,he plays first-class cricket for Nondescripts Cricket Club.

Burgher Recreation Club replaced Sri Lanka Ports Authority Cricket Club,who were relegated from the previous years' tournament,after finishing bottom of the Plate League. Maduka Liyanapathiranage is a Sri Lankan cricketer. He made his first-class debut for Colombo Cricket Club in the 2011–12 Premier Trophy on 17 February 2012. In January 2016,playing for Chilaw Marians Cricket Club,he took nine wickets in an innings against Tamil Union Cricket and Athletic Club in the 2015–16 Premier League Tournament.

The 2021–22 Major Clubs Limited Over Tournament was a List A cricket competition that took place in Sri Lanka. It ran from 27 October to 30 November 2021,with twenty-six teams taking part. Eight overseas cricketers played in the tournament. Nondescripts Cricket Club were the defending champions,having won the previous year's tournament.
