"Run Boy" is a free download single by electronic duo Boomkat, as well as the lead single from A Million Trillion Stars (2009).
A music video for "Run Boy" was shot in the summer of 2008 in Los Angeles. [1] The lead single, along with a visually electric music video premiered on People.com on March 3, 2009, and received generally positive reviews. [2] The music video was produced by Megan Duffy and directed by Hannah Lux Davis. The director of photography was Brett Pawlak. The album is influenced by hip-hop of the late-80s/early-90s, the British pop invasion, new wave, and contemporary artists from Motown to the hiperati. [3]
"I know the video is not for everyone but I want ‘the kids’ to like my music," Taryn writes on the duo's blog at MySpace. [4] A dance cut version of the music video was also released and it showed all the dance moves used in the video. It was also noted that all the designs in the video are from Taryn Manning and Tara Jane's clothing line Born Uniqorn.

He founded and manages record company Mad Decent, as well as co-founding the non-profit organization Heaps Decent. His 2013 EP, Revolution, debuted at number 68 on the US Billboard 200. The EP's title track was later featured in a commercial for Hyundai and is featured on the WWE 2K16 soundtrack.

The Presets are an Australian electronic music duo of Julian Hamilton and Kim Moyes. Formed in 2003 and signed to Modular Records, The Presets released two EPs in advance of their debut album, Beams, released in 2005 to positive critical response. After two years of touring, including as the Australian support for Daft Punk, the band's 2008 release, Apocalypso, debuted at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart, and went on to win six awards at ARIA Awards 2008, including Album of the Year.

Matt and Kim are an American indie electronic duo from Brooklyn, New York. The group formed in 2004 and consists of Matt Johnson (vocals/keyboards) and Kim Schifino (drums). The duo is known for its upbeat dance music and energetic live shows which often incorporate samples from other artists. Although they started their career playing shows in lofts and other close-quarters venues, they have since performed at numerous festivals, including Bonnaroo, Coachella, and the Firefly Music Festival.
Chase & Status are an English electronic music duo composed of Saul Milton (Chase) and Will Kennard (Status). In addition, Andy Gangadeen is the drummer when the band performs live. MC Rage formerly assisted the group when they perform, but left in July 2021 to focus on solo ventures. The duo are from London, and formed in 2003 after meeting at university in Manchester. A Million Trillion Stars (2009) is the second studio album by electronic duo Boomkat. On June 3, 2008 the album became available in online stores, but was officially released on March 10, 2009. The album was originally planned to be released on December 16, 2008, but was pushed back. Tracks from the album were posted on Taryn Manning's MySpace page and iTunes, but the album became fully available on their new website in early June 2008. Two singles, called "Run Away" and "Run Boy" have been released off the album. "Run Away" single appears in the studio album, as well as in the Runaway EP.
Love and Theft is an American country music group founded by Stephen Barker Liles, Eric Gunderson, and Brian Bandas, all three of whom alternated as lead singers and acoustic guitarists. Signed to Lyric Street Records subsidiary Carolwood Records in 2009, Love and Theft made their chart debut in early 2009 with the single "Runaway," which reached the Top 10 on Billboard Hot Country Songs. The Knocks is an American electronic music duo consisting of Ben "B-Roc" Ruttner and James "JPatt" Patterson. They are known for their own releases on labels such as Kitsuné, Big Beat Records, Neon Gold and Atlantic Records and for their remixes featured on HypeMachine, Beatport, and various DJs' set lists. They are also known for their singles "Classic," featuring the duo Powers, "I Wish " which was collaborated with Matthew Koma and "Kiss The Sky", featuring Wyclef Jean. Their debut album, 55, was released on March 4, 2016. Their second album, New York Narcotic, was released on September 28, 2018, spawning singles “Ride or Die” featuring Foster the People and “Brazilian Soul”, Best Friend featuring Sofi Tukker.
Davichi in Wonderland is the first extended play by South Korean duo Davichi, released on February 27, 2009. A total of three music videos were released to the promote the album, with the M/Vs for "8282" and "Accident" being a 2-part drama music video starring Jung Chan-woo and Yoon Jung-hee.
"Check It Out" is a song performed by American rappers will.i.am and Nicki Minaj. The hip hop and electropop song, written by will.i.am and Minaj, samples the 1979 hit single "Video Killed the Radio Star" by the Buggles. After release, it debuted on the US Billboard Hot 100 at #78 and on the Canadian Hot 100 at #48. It appears on Minaj's debut album, Pink Friday, though it was not released in promotion of the album. The special remix released in the UK also features English recording artist Cheryl Cole. The song peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot 100; as of December 2013, the song has sold 780,000 digital downloads.
