Rut Tellefsen (born 23 August 1930) is a Norwegian actress. She is a recipient of the Amanda Award, and of the Order of St. Olav.

Personal life

Tellefsen was born in Malvik on 23 August 1930, a daughter of Johan Fredriksen and Anna Bergljot Smaage. She was married to actor Tom Tellefsen from 1955 to 1962, and to Kjell Bækkelund from 1966 to 1972. [1]

Career

Tellefsen made her stage debut at Det Norske Teatret in 1956. She worked for Fjernsynsteatret in its early days, during the 1960s, and she was assigned to Oslo Nye Teater 1969 to 1973. She was co-founder and later artistical director of Telemark Teater, and was assigned to Nationaltheatret from 1981 to 2001. [1] [2]

Awards

Tellefsen was awarded the Norwegian Theatre Critics Award for 1985/1986, but did not want to accept the prize. [3] She received the Amanda Award in 1996 for her role in the film Kristin Lavransdatter . [4] She was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 2000. [1]

Tom Tellefsen was a Norwegian actor. He was born in Asker. He was married to actress Rut Tellefsen from 1955 to 1962. He made his film debut in 1949, in Arne Skouen's Gategutter, and also played in Circus Fandango from 1954 and Blodveien from 1955. His stage debut was at Det Norske Teatret in 1959, and he worked at this theatre until his retirement in 2001. Among his later films are Smuglere from 1968, Balladen om mestertyven Ole Høiland from 1970, Bør Børson Jr. and Kimen from 1974 and Hard asfalt from 1986. He also contributed to television and radio.

Ingolf Rogde was a Norwegian actor. He was born in Sande, Møre og Romsdal, and was married to actress Siri Rom. He was mainly known for his long-term period with the touring theatre Riksteatret. Rogde made his stage debut at Trøndelag Teater in 1937, and was later assigned with Det Nye Teater, Det Norske Teatret, Riksteatret and Rogaland Teater. He also worked for Radioteatret. Among his films are Rikard Nordraak (1945) and Ugler i mosen (1959). He was decorated Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 1969.
