Ruth Alston Brown was an American singer-songwriter and actress, sometimes referred to as the "Queen of R&B". She was noted for bringing a pop music style to R&B music in a series of hit songs for Atlantic Records in the 1950s, such as "So Long", "Teardrops from My Eyes" and "(Mama) He Treats Your Daughter Mean". "Radio" is a song recorded by American singer Beyoncé for her third studio album, I Am… Sasha Fierce (2008). The up-tempo electropop/dance-pop song was composed by Beyoncé, Rico Love, Anton Bakholdin and Jim Jonsin. Composed in the key of D major and built essentially on bouncy beat, "Radio" also displays influences of the 1980s synthpop, Europop, and house. Playing the Piano is a concept album by Ryuichi Sakamoto which was first released in Japan in 2009. The album includes recordings released in Japan only in 2004 under the /04 and /05 releases. The album is completely instrumental and features Sakamoto covering his earlier work, such as the soundtracks to Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence and The Last Emperor, and also pop songs such as "Thousand Knives," by rearranging them to be played on a single piano. Sakamoto himself refers to the album as a "Self covers" album. In North America it was released as a deluxe double album along with the experimental album Out of Noise on 28 September 2010. Sakamoto promoted the album in North America with an 11-date tour in October and November 2010.

In addition to frontman Theo Hilton, Nana Grizol features Laura Carter, Robbie Cucchiaro, Jared Gandy (Witches), drummer Matte Cathcart and Kate Mitchell, Ian Rickert, Patrick Jennings and Michael Schneeweis. Solo artist Madeline Adams also appears on Love It Love It.

Theo Hilton is an American musician and singer-songwriter. He is best known for his work as drummer and vocalist for the folk punk band Defiance, Ohio, singer-songwriter of indie folk band Nana Grizol, and co-founder of all-queer DIY record label Cruisin' Records. Born and raised in Athens, Georgia, Hilton's music is largely shaped by his experiences growing up queer in small town America.
