Ruth Lupton is an English cricketer and former member of the England women's cricket team. She was born in 1964 and played one test,against New Zealand at Scarborough,and two one day internationals,both at the 1995 Women's European Cricket Cup. [1] [2]
Twenty20 (T20) is a shortened game format of cricket. At the professional level,it was introduced by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) in 2003 for the inter-county competition. In a Twenty20 game,the two teams have a single innings each,which is restricted to a maximum of twenty overs. Together with first-class and List A cricket,Twenty20 is one of the three current forms of cricket recognised by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as being at the highest international or domestic level.
Women's One Day International (ODI) is the limited overs form of women's cricket. Matches are scheduled for 50 overs,equivalent to the men's game. The first women's ODIs were played in 1973,as part of the first Women's World Cup which was held in England. The first ODI saw the hosts beat an International XI. The 1,000th women's ODI took place between South Africa and New Zealand on 13 October 2016.

The streak of final appearances was broken in the 2020–21 season when they finished in fourth place. Tasmania are the current champions,having won back-to-back titles across the 2021–22 and 2022–23 seasons.
Major Arthur William Lupton was an English soldier and amateur first-class cricketer,who played 104 matches for Yorkshire County Cricket Club from 1908 to 1927. He also played for the Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) (1909),the Gentlemen of England (1910) and H.D.G. Leveson-Gower's XI (1911).

They are partnered with the regional side South East Stars.

The "Natmeg" shot is named after Sciver,from when she has hit a cricket ball through her legs during a game.

They then played England in three Test matches,all of which were drawn. Finally,they played Ireland in 3 ODIs,winning the series 2–0.

Ruth Johnston is an Australian cricketer who plays for Queensland Fire in the Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) and Hobart Hurricanes in the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL). An all-rounder,she bats right-handed and bowls right-arm off break. Johnston was called up to the Queensland squad during the 2020–21 WNCL,and while she did not play she was signed on a full contract ahead of the following season. She was signed by Hobart Hurricanes for the 2021–22 WBBL and made her debut in the side's opening game,a 6-wicket loss to Melbourne Renegades in which she scored 20 runs opening the batting. She is the cousin of her Queensland teammate Ellie Johnston.
