Ruth Meeme (born 22 January 1990) is an Ugandan netball player who represents Uganda internationally and plays in the position of wing attack. [1] [2] She has represented Uganda at the 2011 All-Africa Games 2018 Commonwealth Games and also competed at two World Cup tournaments in 2015 and in 2019. [3] [4]
She was a key member of the Ugandan side which claimed a gold medal in the Netball at the 2011 All-Africa Games. [5]
In September 2019, she was included in the Ugandan squad for the 2019 African Netball Championships. [6]
The New Zealand national netball team, commonly known as the Silver Ferns, represent Netball New Zealand in international netball tournaments such as the Netball World Cup, the Commonwealth Games, the Taini Jamison Trophy, the Constellation Cup, the Netball Quad Series and the Fast5 Netball World Series. She was also a member of the England team that won the bronze medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Takondwa Lwazi also spelt as Takwonda Lwazi is a Malawian netball player who plays for Malawi internationally and for Malawian local club Blue Eagles in the positions of C and WA. She is known as one of the finest netball centre players to have played for Malawi despite being only 160cm tall in height. She also serves as a Police Sergeant in the Malawi Police Service.
