The Rutland and District Cricket League (RDCL) is a Sunday League that administer's cricket clubs that participate in the League, Cup and trophy competitions. [1] Albeit a Rutland centric Sunday cricket league, the headquarters for the RDCL is based in Swineshead, Lincolnshire. [1]
The Rutland & District Cricket League operates mainly in the county of Rutland, but many clubs participate from beyond the county boundary, with representatives from Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Cambridgeshire and Northamptonshire. [2] For the 2021 season the RDCL held 42 teams from 32 clubs in its divisions. [1] The League is divided into 5 Divisions with, wherever possible, a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 10 teams in each division. [3] [4]

Spalding is a market town on the River Welland in the South Holland district of Lincolnshire, England. The main town had a population of 30,556 at the 2021 census. The town is the administrative centre of the South Holland District. The town is located between the cities of Peterborough and Lincoln.
The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is the national governing body of cricket in England and Wales. It was formed on 1 January 1997 as a single governing body to combine the roles formerly fulfilled by the Test and County Cricket Board, the National Cricket Association and the Cricket Council. In April 1998 the Women's Cricket Association was integrated into the organisation. The ECB's head offices are at Lord's Cricket Ground in north-west London.

Leicestershire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Leicestershire. It has also been representative of the county of Rutland. The club's limited overs team is called the Leicestershire Foxes. Founded in 1879, the club had minor county status until 1894, when it was promoted to first-class status pending its entry into the County Championship in 1895. Since then, Leicestershire have played in every top-level domestic cricket competition in England.
Bitteswell is a small village and former civil parish, now in the parish of Bitteswell with Bittesby, in the Harborough district of Leicestershire in England. It is situated just north of the town of Lutterworth, and in the 2001 census had a population of 454. The population had increased to 554 at the 2011 census. It was recorded in the Domesday Book as Betmeswelle. The village's name means 'the spring/stream in the broad valley'.

Gumley Cricket Club is an amateur cricket club based in Gumley, Leicestershire, England. The club has three senior teams. The Saturday XI, having traditionally played friendlies, started playing competitive cricket in 2009, in the Northamptonshire Cricket League. A Sunday XI side plays friendly fixtures against an established selection of clubs in and around the region. A Midweek XI compete in the Market Harborough District Midweek Evening League and Knockout competitions.
The Premier Division of the Derbyshire County Cricket League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in Derbyshire, England, and is a designated ECB Premier League. The Premier League was founded in 2000 as a separate league from the Derbyshire County Cricket League, and at that time was called the Derbyshire Premier Cricket League. The two leagues amalgamated before the 2016 season, and the Derbyshire Premier Cricket League became the Premier Division of the Derbyshire County Cricket League. While most of the league's member clubs are from Derbyshire, there are also clubs from the Burton upon Trent area of Staffordshire, Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire.

The League headquarters is based in the Harborough District village of Thorpe Langton, Leicestershire.

The Love Lane Liverpool and District Cricket Competition is regarded as the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in the Liverpool area and since 2000 has been a designated ECB Premier League. The Competition operates a three divisional system with Premier, First and Second Divisions. The Southport and District Amateur Cricket League is its feeder league.
The Hevey Building Supplies Northamptonshire Cricket League is the top level of competition for recreational club cricket in Northamptonshire, England, and since 1999 has been a designated ECB Premier League. The league headquarters is based in Wellingborough.
Bourne Cricket Club, is an amateur cricket club based in Bourne, Lincolnshire, England. Bourne’s 1st XI Team play in the ECB Lincolnshire County Board Premier League, the 2nd XI compete in the South Lincs & Border League. Bourne also field a Sunday XI team in the Rutland and District Cricket League, a Women's team in the East Midlands Women’s Cricket League, and they have an established Junior Section, who play in The Border County Cricket Association.
NKF Burbage Football Club was a football club based in Burbage, Leicestershire, England. The club was affiliated to the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.
The South Nottinghamshire Cricket League serves Nottingham and the surrounding towns and villages. The South Nottinghamshire Cricket League (SNCL) is one of two Nottinghamshire leagues that feeds into the ECB accredited Nottinghamshire Cricket Board Premier League. The headquarters for the SNCL is based in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire. Nottinghamshire Recreational Cricket is the body responsible for all recreational cricket in the Nottinghamshire and ensures the smooth running of the game on a number of different levels.
The Newark Club Cricket Alliance (NCCA) Sunday League serves a swathe of cricket clubs across the south and east of Nottinghamshire. Albeit the East Midlands' most Newark centric Sunday cricket league, the headquarters for the NCCA is based in Bolsover, Derbyshire. The NCCA has a long history dating back to the early 1970s, with Farndon becoming champions of Division 1 in 1973.

Sunday league football in England consists of a series of leagues of amateur football clubs that play matches on Sundays. Most Sunday leagues across England consist of multiple divisions including promotion and relegation, but are not part of the English football league system.
