Ryan Bowser is an American record producer from St. Louis, Missouri, United States. He has worked for many artists during his career, mainly R&B and soul music.
Bowser began producing and working with local artists including Nelly, City Spud, and the St. Lunatics in the late 1990s. His vocals can still be heard singing background on their Free City album Groovin' Tonight, featuring Brian McKnight. Bowser joined forces with longtime friend Antoine "Bam" Macon to form the production duo The Nimrods in early 2000. Bowser's first noted major placement was Arista Recording artist, Toya Rodriguez, professionally known as Toya in 2001. He produced over 50 percent of the album including her most popular hit "I DO!" The single and debut album Toya, sold approximately 400,000 copies. In 2001, Bowser's remake of Patti LaBelle's "Love Need and Want You" featured as "Dilemma" on Nelly's album, Nellyville featuring Kelly Rowland from Destiny's Child. The single landed at #1 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks, Hot Rap Tracks and on the Billboard Hot 100 as the first rap song to hold the #1 spot for 12 consecutive weeks earning a Grammy Award [1] for Best R&B & Rap Collaboration. "Dilemma" now sits at #64 on Billboard's Greatest Songs Of All Time and is the most successful song of Nelly's career, giving him his first number-one single in many countries, such as Australia, Belgium, Germany, Ireland, The Netherlands, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the United States. "Dilemma" was nominated twice for Best Music Video at the 2003 Soul Train Music Awards and MTV Music Video Awards.
In 2005 he split from the Nimrods and he began branding himself as Ghost Music.[ citation needed ] Bowser was signed to EMI Music Publishing by John "Big Jon" Platt.[ citation needed ] In 2014, Bowser produced two singles for Sony UK pop group Moorhouse, as well as new rap artist Eric Martinez's single "Seasons" featured on his recent project Inspired By 92.[ citation needed ] Bowser went on to open 2015 producing a single for Columbia Records female rap artist Dej Loaf titled "Me U & Hennessy" featuring Lil Wayne along with her producer DDS.[ citation needed ]
Ryan's success led him to producing for other notable acts MOORHOUSE, Monica, 112, Mario, J-Kwon, Rubben Studdard, Trina, Paul Wall, Ma$e, Pretty Ricky, Tabiyus, DMX and Q Da Kid, including chart hitting singles like Take It Slow (O'Ryan), [2] My Baby (Bow Wow feat. Jagged Edge), Ball Out/500 1's (Blak Jak feat T-Pain), [3] and scoring his first movie "4 Minutes".
Cornell Iral Haynes Jr., better known by his stage name Nelly, is an American rapper, singer and actor. He grew up in St. Louis, Missouri, and embarked on his musical career in 1993 as a member of the Midwest hip hop group, St. Lunatics. He signed to Universal Records in 1999, releasing his solo debut album Country Grammar in June of the following year. Its title track and follow-up single "Ride wit Me" peaked within the top ten of the Billboard Hot 100, while the album peaked at number one on the US Billboard 200; it became Nelly's best-selling album to date, selling over 8.4 million copies in the United States. His second album, Nellyville (2002) spawned two consecutive number-one hits, "Hot in Herre" and "Dilemma", along with the top-five single "Air Force Ones".
Country Grammar is the debut studio album by American rapper and singer Nelly. It was released on June 27, 2000, by Universal Records. The production on the album was handled by Jason "Jay E" Epperson, with additional production by C-Love, Kevin Law, City Spud, Steve "Blast" Wills and Basement Beats. Nelly contributed to all lyrics on the album, with Epperson and City Spud also contributing. With the album’s release, Nelly and his “St. Lunatics” crew cemented the St. Louis sound firmly amongst other southern hip hop artists in the year 2000, such as Juvenile, Trina, Ludacris, OutKast, Three 6 Mafia and UGK. Country Grammar also introduced the world to Nelly's unique musical style of pop-rap and radio “singalongs” with a Missouri twang. It was supported by four successful singles: "Country Grammar ", "E.I.", "Ride wit Me" and "Batter Up". Its lead single, "Country Grammar ", peaked at number 7 on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. Its second single "E.I." peaked at number 16 on the Hot 100, number 12 on the UK Singles Chart and number 11 on the ARIA Singles Chart. "Ride wit Me" peaked within the top five on the Hot 100, ARIA Singles Chart, Irish Singles Chart and UK Singles Chart. The album's fourth and final single, "Batter Up" featuring St. Lunatics members Murphy Lee and Ali, achieved moderate chart success.
Garrett Robin Hamler, known professionally as Sean Garrett, is an American record producer, rapper, singer and songwriter. He was a credited songwriter for a series of successful R&B and hip hop recordings, beginning with Usher's 2004 single "Yeah!". Garrett would then co-write five other songs which peaked the Billboard Hot 100: "Goodies" for Ciara also in 2004, "Check on It" for Beyoncé and "Run It!" for Chris Brown in 2005, "London Bridge" for Fergie and "Grillz" for Nelly in 2006. Additionally, he's written seventeen other singles which peaked on the UK Singles, US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, or Dance Club Songs charts. Suit is the fourth studio album by American rapper Nelly. It was intended to be released on August 17, 2004, before being delayed and released on September 13, 2004, by Universal Records. Production for the album was handled by several producers, including the Neptunes, Jazze Pha, Doe, AHM, Jayson "Koko" Bridges, Kuya Productions, Soulshock and Karlin, Ryan Bowser, Big Boi and Beat Bullies. Released in conjunction with Sweat, Nelly intended to release a single album before conceptualizing and releasing two albums simultaneously, both of which would contrast each other's themes. Nelly characterized Sweat as "more up-tempo" and "energetic" while describing Suit as more of "a grown-up and sexy vibe [...] it's more melodic".

Thereafter, he produced heavily for Nelly and his collaborators, signing to his record label, Derrty Entertainment as an in-house producer. He has produced songs for other artists including Murphy Lee, St. Lunatics, Justin Timberlake, E-40, Cedric the Entertainer, Lil Wayne, Ron Isley, Three 6 Mafia, and Hilary Duff. Epperson's style is characterized by hip hop mixed with soul, R&B, and pop music. Billboard magazine, in its December 2000 issue, listed Epperson at number sixteen on its "Top 100 Producers" list, as well as number nineteen on its "Top 100 R&B/Hip Hop Producers of 2000" list. He's received a Grammy Award nomination.

It was written by Eric Goudy II, Nelly, Earl Hood and co-written and produced by Rico Love & Jim Jonsin as a continuum to the love story outlined in "Dilemma". "Gone" was initially known as "Dilemma p.2" but the title was changed and Nelly stopped referring to the song as "Dilemma"' sequel for fear that it would not match people's expectations and through his desire for "Gone" to be recognised as a separate recording.
Macklemore & Ryan Lewis were an American hip hop duo from Seattle, Washington, formed in 2009 by Macklemore, a rapper, and Ryan Lewis, a DJ and record producer. In 2009, they released their first collaborative effort, an EP titled VS. EP. They later followed up with VS. Redux (2010), the Grammy Award-winning album The Heist (2012) and This Unruly Mess I've Made (2016).
