S. Sathyendra has acted prominently in old movies in minor roles.
He was born into a Telugu family in Tiputer in Karnataka. His father Sanjevaigh was the first Circle inspector of Police after the British in Karnataka. He was mostly brought up from the age of six to 21 in Bengaluru. He did all his schooling and college (Central College of Bangalore) in Bangalore. He has two postgraduations in Kannada literature and Philosophy and B.A. in Drama and Diploma in French and German and has working knowledge in Italian and Spanish.
He played character roles in college plays and in amateur theatre and has worked as a theatre actor with B. V. Karanth and Girish Karnad the avant-garde giants of Kannada theatre. His first film was Grahana, a Kannada film in which he played a pivotal role. His second film, in which he played a character role was Rishyasringa, produced by G. V. Iyer. He is the first television actor in Karnataka in the children's film Aane Banthu Aane, directed by Chandrashekhara Kambara. He has acted in Our Town by Thornton Wilder, directed by Jacqueline Henny from the USA. He worked as an assistant director for a French documentary film dealing with possessed people in Dargha.
He also worked with Indologists from Germany and America in the field of shadow puppetry and marionettes for 2 years.
He often gives interviews to Tamil YouTube channels about his various achievements.

Sampath Kumar, known by his stage name Vishnuvardhan, was an Indian actor who worked predominantly in Kannada cinema besides also having sporadically appeared in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam language films. He was called The Phoenix of Indian Cinema. In 2008, a poll conducted by CNN-IBN listed Vishnuvardhan as the most popular star in the Kannada film industry.
Babukodi Venkataramana Karanth widely known as B. V. Karanth was an Indian film director, playwright, actor, screenwriter, composer, and dramatist known for his works in the Kannada theatre, Kannada cinema, and Hindi cinema. One of the pioneers of the Parallel Cinema, Karanth was an alumnus of the National School of Drama (1962) and later, its Director. He received the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award (1976), six National Film Awards, and the civilian honor Padma Shri for his contributions towards the field of art.

Through the course of her career, she became known for her portrayal of roles of mythological and historical characters, and also that of a student, a romantic and a rural belle. Her role in Sri Krishnadevaraya (1970) as Chennambike won her the Karnataka State Film Award for Best Actress. In 2017, she was honoured with the Padma Shri by the Government of India. She has the distinction of having paired with Dr.Rajkumar as a lead actress in all the 26 movies she acted with him and is also paired with him the most no. of times in those movies where he played multiple roles.
Kishore Kumar G, known mononymously as Kishore, is an Indian actor who appears in Kannada, Tamil and Telugu films alongside few Malayalam films. He gained popularity for portraying the character of Veerappan in the Kannada film Attahasa in 2013.
