Saba Hasan is an Indian contemporary artist who is based in Goa and New Delhi.

Contents

She has a BA (Honours) in Economics from Delhi University, New Delhi and a Masters in Cultural Anthropology from Syracuse University New York. She has also trained in art at the Ceruleum - Ecole d’arts Visuels, Lausanne [1] and art history at the University of Cambridge, UK. [2] [3]

Her work includes painting, photography, book installations, voice works and film. [4] Her works are with collectors in India, UK, Switzerland, Sri Lanka, Japan, Holland, USA, Spain and France. [5]

Akbar Padamsee was an Indian artist and painter, considered one of the pioneers in modern Indian painting along with S.H. Raza, F.N. Souza and M.F. Husain. Over the years he also worked with various mediums from oil painting, plastic emulsion, water colour, sculpture, printmaking, to computer graphics, and photography. In addition, he worked as a film maker, sculptor, photographer, engraver, and lithographer. Today his paintings are among the most valued by modern Indian artists. His painting Reclining Nude was sold for US$1,426,500 at Sotheby's in New York on 25 March 2011.

Saba Qamar Zaman, known professionally as Saba Qamar, is a Pakistani actress who works predominantly in Urdu films and television. She has won several accolades including Hum Awards and two Lux Style Awards. Qamar is one of Pakistan's most popular and highest-paid actresses. Government of Pakistan honoured her with Tamgha-e-Imtiaz in 2012 and Pride of Performance in 2016.

The Cinema of Manipur is the film industry based in Manipur, India. It includes not only Meitei language movies but all the films made in different languages of the different communities in Manipur. The Manipuri film industry was born when Matamgi Manipur by Debkumar Bose was released on 9 April 1972. Gopi Gajwani is a painter, photographer, designer, and cartoonist from New Delhi, India. He graduated from the Delhi School of Art in 1959 with a degree in Graphic Designing.

Romi Meitei is an Indian film director and lyricist who works in Manipuri films. He is a recipient of several awards at several film festivals organised in India and abroad and has directed movies for around two decades. Thoiba Thoibi, Inga Nonglakta, Manithoiba, Natephamda Tero, Chumthang Makhong, Mikithi and Dharmagi Mingda Imagidamak are some of the well-known movies he directed.

Mulenga Jestina Mulenga is a Zambian painter, writer, sculptor and photographer.

Nomthunzi Mashalaba is a South African painter and visual artist. Her art has featured in international exhibitions including Map of the New Art in Venice, Crossing Boundaries in Qatar and The Art of Humanity at the Pratt Institute in New York.

Saad Qureshi is a contemporary artist best known for making large scale sculptures and drawings.

Maria Wolfram is a Finnish visual artist. She is known for creating art that is viewed through the female perspective.
