Sabah Jeayer, (born 26 May 1970) is an Iraqi football forward who played for Iraq in the 2000 Asian Cup, Talaba SC, and Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.
Sabah Jeayer was a talented forward, who is great in the air and also a goalscorer capable of rising to the big match occasion, with two goals at the 2000 Asian Cup.
He started his career with the Talaba SC youth team in 1986, before moving to Air Force club Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya in 1991 and then moving back to Al-Talaba in 1993. He was given his first call-up to the national team in 1992.
In 1995, he helped Talaba to the Asian Cup Winners Cup final and scored 14 goals to help Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya win the double in 1997.
He was a member of Iraq's disastrous World Cup qualifying campaign for France'98, but stormed back after three years in exile with a magnificent double over hosts Lebanon in the Asian Cup. He was recalled by Milan Zivadinovic, who called him his secret weapon, Sabah has become one of Iraq’s star players.
The trickle of goals, he has scored during his career were always celebrated with an acrobatic somersault. [1]

Emmanuel Baba Dawud, better known as Ammo Baba, was an Iraqi Assyrian football player and coach of the Iraq national football team.

Founded in 1977, it was merged with another club called Al-Jamiea ahead of the 1978–79 season. Their home stadium is Al-Talaba Stadium.

The Baghdad derbies are a series of derby matches between four Baghdad-based football clubs: Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, Al-Shorta, Al-Talaba and Al-Zawraa, collectively known as the 'Popular Teams'. They are the four most successful teams in the history of Iraqi football, and league games between the clubs are played at the neutral venue of Al-Shaab Stadium to accommodate more spectators. The match between Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya and Al-Zawraa is often referred to as the Iraqi El Clásico.
The 2018–19 Iraq FA Cup was the 29th edition of the Iraqi knockout football cup as a clubs-only competition, the main domestic cup in Iraqi football. A total of 20 teams from the Iraqi Premier League and 25 teams from the Iraq Division One and Iraq Division Two participated. It started on 12 September 2018 and the final was played on 26 July 2019 at the Al-Shaab Stadium in Baghdad.
