The school was started on 31st May 1943 by Msgr. R.F.C. Mascarenhas. [11] The Sacred Hearts’ Secondary School (as it was then called) was inaugurated on the 4th June 1943. [11] The first batch from the school appeared for the SSLC Examination in 1947. [11] The first 3 Headmistresses of this school were Smt. Laxmi Bai (1943-44), Sr. Bertha (1944-45) and Sr. Macrina (1945). [12]

Mangalore International Airport, is an international airport serving the coastal city of Mangalore, India. It is one of the two international airports in Karnataka, the other being Kempegowda International Airport, Bangalore. Mangalore International Airport is the second busiest airport in Karnataka.
