Saidel Horta is a Cuban [1] boxer. [2] [3] He competed at the 2023 IBA Men's World Boxing Championships, winning the silver medal in the featherweight event. [4] He also competed at the 2023 Pan American Games, winning the silver medal in the men's 57 kg event. [5]

Cuba competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Originally scheduled to take place from 24 July to 9 August 2020, the Games were postponed to 23 July to 8 August 2021, because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Cuban delegation was their smallest since 1964, which coincidentally was also in Tokyo. It was the nation's twenty-first appearance at the Summer Olympics. Cuba improved on its 2016 result, by winning 7 gold and 15 total medals after 5 and 11 in Rio.

Tammara Thibeault is a Canadian boxer competing in the Middleweight category. Thibeault won the 2022 World Championship in Istanbul after earlier winning the middleweight bronze in 2019. She is the reigning Commonwealth Games champion when she won gold in Birmingham in 2022, improving on her bronze medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Thibeault is also the current Pan American Games champion when she won gold at the 2023 Pan Am Games, again improving on her bronze from the 2019 Pan American Games.

Javier Ibáñez Diaz is a Cuban-born Bulgarian boxer. He competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics, winning the bronze medal in the men's featherweight event. He competed as a bantamweight as a youth, and currently competes as a featherweight.

Alejandro Claro Fiz is a Cuban boxer. He competed at the 2023 IBA World Boxing Championships, winning the bronze medal in the minimumweight event. He also competed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in the men's 51 kg event, but was defeated in the quarter-final by Billal Bennama.
