Sal Yusuf is an Indian actor and stand-up comedian who works in Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi-language films.
Sal Yusuf moved from London to Bangalore, where he became a stand-up comedian and is also a part of the comedy group, The Improv. [1] [2] He was one of the first stand-up comedians in Bangalore. [1] After appearing in several commercials, theatre productions, and playing supporting roles in several Malayalam films, Sal Yusuf made his Hindi film debut with Tiger Zinda Hai (2017) portraying one of the antagonists. [3] He made his Kannada lead debut with French Biriyani along with Danish Sait, who is also a part of The Improv. [4] [5] In the film, he plays a French emigrant who comes to Bangalore. [4] [6] [7]

She has the distinction of having paired with Dr.Rajkumar as a lead actress in all the 26 movies she acted with him and is also paired with him the most no. of times in those movies where he played multiple roles.

Neram (transl. 'Time') is a 2013 Indian black comedy thriller film written, directed and edited by Alphonse Puthren in his directorial debut. It is simultaneously made in Malayalam and Tamil languages. It is an extended version of the short film of the same name, which he directed in 2009. It stars Nivin Pauly, Nazriya Nazim and Bobby Simha in both versions. Supporting roles were played by Manoj K. Jayan, Shammi Thilakan, Lalu Alex, and Willson Joseph in Malayalam version, while Nassar, Thambi Ramiah, John Vijay and Shabareesh Varma portrayed the characters in Tamil version.

The Improv is an improvisational comedy show which was started in May 2012 in Bangalore, India. The show has no script and is totally improvised, as its name suggests. The audiences give suggestions, situations and scenarios to the host and taking the cue, the actors create on-the-spot hilarious scenes on stage. It is hosted and directed by Saad Khan, an Indian filmmaker. The show is conceptualized by Saad Khan. The show's performers are Sal Yusuf, Darius Sunawala, Abel Mathews and Tim Schultz. The team has performed over 100 shows in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sweden.
