Samasya film produced by T. Surendran under production banner Kalaratnam Films. [4] It was given an "U" (Unrestricted) certificate by the Central Board of Film Certification. The final length of the film was 3,617.37 metres (11,868.0 ft). [4]

Soundtrack

The music was composed by Shyam and K. P. Udayabhanu and the lyrics were written by P. Bhaskaran, O. N. V. Kurup and Bichu Thirumala. [5]

Srividya, was an Indian actress best known for her work predominantly in Malayalam and Tamil films, along with few Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. In a career spanning for 40 years, she had acted in more than 800 films. In the latter part of her career, she concentrated on Malayalam films. The movie is known for some steamy scenes. M. G. Soman played the cunning villain Gopalan. Kamal Haasan won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Malayalam. It was dubbed and released in Tamil as Inba Thagam.
