Samuel Anini (born 7 September 2002) is a Finnish professional footballer who plays as a winger for Veikkausliiga club HJK.
Samuel Anini Jr is a youth product of Pallokerho Keski-Uusimaa. [1]
He transferred to HJK Helsinki in 2019 for an undisclosed fee. [2]
He spent the 2022 season on loan in AC Oulu, which was his first season in Veikkausliiga, the premier division in Finland. [3] He scored his first Veikkausliiga goal for AC Oulu on 23 July 2022, in a 3–1 home victory against IFK Mariehamn.
On 10 February 2023, Anini extended his contract with HJK until the end of 2024, and was immediately thereafter sent on loan to IFK Mariehamn for the 2023 season. [4] [5] [6]
Anini Junior has represented Finland at under-17, under-18 and under-20 youth international levels.
Anini Junior was born and raised in Finland to Ghanaian parents. [7] He holds a dual Finnish-Ghanaian citizenship.
