Sandra Ringwald (born 27 September 1990) is a German former cross-country skier. [1] She competed in the World Cup between 2011 and 2019. [1]

She represented Germany at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2015 in Falun.

She announced her retirement from cross-country skiing on 29 March 2019. [2]

Marie-Helene Östlund, is a retired Swedish cross-country skier. Östlund won a world championship title on the 20 km in Oberstdorf, West Germany, in 1987. For the feat, she was awarded the Svenska Dagbladet Gold Medal, shared with the Swedish ice hockey team. Östlund also won the Jerring Award the same year. She is married to fellow Swedish cross-country skier Erik Östlund.

Simone Opitz is an East German-German cross-country skier who competed from 1985 to 1993. Competing in two Winter Olympics, she earned best finish of fifth twice at the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary.
