Sangam is a village on the bank of Penna River and a Mandal in Nellore district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. [1] The village of Chennavarappadu is nearby to the north.
Nellore is a city on the banks of Penna River, located in Nellore district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It serves as the headquarters of the district, as well as Nellore mandal and Nellore revenue division. It is the fourth most populous city in the state. It is at a distance of 280 km from the Vijayawada and about 170 km north of Chennai, Tamilnadu and also about 380km from Bangalore,Karnataka. Nellore City accounts for 65% of the urban population of Nellore District.
