Sanjay Sehgal is an Indian-American entrepreneur and business executive. He is the founder, chairman, and CEO of MSys Group, a technology company specializing in product engineering, digital transformation, and IT services.
Sanjay Sehgal was born in New Delhi, India. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Delhi College of Engineering. [1] [2]
Sanjay Sehgal started his career in 1998 as the VP of sales and marketing at American Megatrends, a company that develops storage services. [3]
In 2000, he founded iVivity, a company specializing in storage networking processors, which was later acquired by Emulex. [4] In 2004, Sanjay also co-founded Scentric, which focused on data classification and management solutions and was acquired by Brocade. [3] Additionally, he played a key role at American Megatrends Inc. (AMI), which was sold to LSI Logic for over $220 million. [5] In 2007, he co-founded and became CEO of Pramana. He raised over $1.5 million from angel investors and $500K in state grants during his tenure. [6] [3] In April 2007, Sanjay Sehgal founded MSys Technologies, that specializes in product engineering services and digital transformation projects for ISV and enterprise clients. [7] Since March 2014, Sehgal has served as the CEO of Clogeny Technologies, a company that specializes in DevOps, infrastructure automation, cloud computing, scalable applications, and data analytics. In 2018, he received the TiE Atlanta Top Entrepreneur Award and was named Most Innovative Digital Transformation CEO in 2019. [15] Also, he was featured in Atlanta Magazine's 500 list of Atlanta's most influential leaders in 2021. [16]
In 2022, Sanjay was honored as a Social Entrepreneur in the Atlanta Business Chronicle's "Leaders in Corporate Citizenship" awards. [17]
Sanjay Sehgal was recognized with the Titan 100 Awards for Georgia in both 2022 and 2023. [18]
Sehgal is a certified trainer and facilitator. [19] He has conducted meditation workshops globally for professionals and entrepreneurs, focusing on mindfulness, stress management, and personal development. In 2003, he led the establishment of the Sahaj Marg Spirituality Foundation, a charitable trust in Chennai, India, that provides meditation training, scholarships, and free medical services. Sanjay Sehgal is married to Geeta Sehgal, and they have a son, Suraj, and a daughter-in-law, Kashish. Their family shares a deep commitment to Heartfulness meditation, with all members serving as trainers in the practice. [21]
