In 2018,Professor Srivastava was nominated by the President of India to the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) Court,the highest advisory body of the university,for the term 2018-2021. [4]
In 2022,he was appointed by the President as his nominee to the Executive Council of Jamia Millia Islamia,New Delhi,a position he holds for the term 2022-2025. Additionally,he is a member of the Finance Committee at Jamia Millia Islamia. Prof. Srivastava has been involved in accreditation activities with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and has served on several important committees of the University Grants Commission (UGC). He was also an advisor at the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and a member of the Academic Council of the Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC) at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) from 2019 to 2021. From 2019 to 2022,he served as Vice Chairman of the BHU School Board and was a member of the Management Committee of Arya Mahila Postgraduate College,BHU,Varanasi,as BHU’s nominee. Prof. Srivastava also chaired the BHU Information Cell. [4]
In 2013-2014,Prof. Srivastava held the position of ICCR Chair of Contemporary Indian Studies at Yerevan State University,Armenia. During his tenure,he participated in public diplomacy activities organized by the Indian Embassy and delivered lectures on various topics,including India’s foreign policy and public diplomacy programs. His research interests focus on India’s foreign policy,conflict resolution,peace studies,and Indian politics. He also contributed to curriculum development,research supervision,and administrative functions at the university. [4]

Banaras Hindu University (BHU),formerly Benares Hindu University,is a collegiate,central,and research university located in Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh,India,and founded in 1916. The university incorporated the Central Hindu College,which had been founded by theosophist and future Indian Home Rule leader Annie Besant in 1898. By 1911 Besant was marginalised on the governing board of the College by Madan Mohan Malviya who preferred a more traditional Hinduism with its hereditary caste system to Besant's more theosophical one. Five years later Malaviya established the university with the support of the maharaja of Darbhanga Rameshwar Singh,the maharaja of Benares Prabhu Narayan Singh,and the lawyer Sunder Lal.
Jamia Millia Islamia is a public and research university located in Delhi,India. Originally established at Aligarh,United Provinces during the British Raj in 1920,it moved to its current location in Okhla in 1935. It was given the deemed status by the University Grants Commission in 1962. Jamia Millia Islamia became a central university by an act of the Indian parliament which was passed on 26 December 1988.
Mukhtar Ahmed Ansari was an Indian nationalist and political leader,and former president of the Indian National Congress and the Muslim League during the Indian Independence Movement. He was one of the founders of Jamia Millia Islamia University. He remained it's chancellor from 1928 to 1936.
Mahatma Gandhi Kashi Vidyapith is a public university located in Varanasi,Uttar Pradesh,India. Established on 10 February 1921 as Kashi Vidyapith and later renamed,it is administered under the state legislature of the government of Uttar Pradesh. It got University status in 1974 as Deemed to be University and State University status in 2009 by The Uttar Pradesh State Universities (Amendment) Act,2008. The university has more than 400+ affiliated colleges spread over six districts. It is one of the largest state universities in Uttar Pradesh,with hundreds of thousands of students,both rural and urban. Talat Ahmad is an Indian Earth Scientist,former Professor at the Department of Geology,University of Delhi and served as Indian National Science Academy (INSA) Senior Scientist. He served as Chairman of Governing body which oversees Wadia Institute of Himalayan Geology,Dehradun from 1 December 2021 onwards and served the office till 30 November 2027. Previously,he commenced his second stint as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir on 6 August 2018 and served the office till 20 May 2022. Before that,he served as Vice Chancellor of Jamia Millia Islamia,he resigned from the post a few months short of his full term. He was shortlisted by a committee constituted by the governor to shortlist a panel for the post. He had earlier taken over as Vice-Chancellor of University of Kashmir from Professor Riyaz Punjabi on 1 June 2011 and served there until the year 2014. Prior to this,he was teaching Geology at the University of Delhi.

He died in Delhi on May 11,2002. In 1985,Maktaba Jamia,New Delhi,published a book Abdul Lateef Azmi Hayat-o-Khidmat. Several scholars contributed chapters in the book on various facets of Abdul Lateef Azmi and his life.
Prof. Bimalendra Kumar,is an Indian researcher,writer,author of publications,and ICCR Chair of Lumbini Buddhist University. He is also a professor in the department of Buddhist Studies at Lumbini Buddhist University and Banaras Hindu University.
