Santiago do Norte is a village in the state of Mato Grosso in the Central-West Region of Brazil. [2] [3] It is the urban extension of Paranatinga.
Mato Grosso is one of the states of Brazil, the third largest by area, located in the Central-West region. The state has 1.66% of the Brazilian population and is responsible for 1.9% of the Brazilian GDP.
Mato Grosso do Sul is one of the Midwestern states of Brazil. Neighboring Brazilian states are Mato Grosso, Goiás, Minas Gerais, São Paulo and Paraná. It also borders the countries of Paraguay, to the southwest, and Bolivia, to the west. The economy of the state is largely based on agriculture and cattle-raising. Crossed in the south by the Tropic of Capricorn, Mato Grosso do Sul generally has a warm, sometimes hot, and humid climate, and is crossed by numerous tributaries of the Paraná River. The state has 1.3% of the Brazilian population and is responsible for 1.5% of the Brazilian GDP.
The Federal University of Mato Grosso is a public university in the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil. Responsible for serving the entire state, its main campus is in the capital city of Cuiabá. Smaller campuses are located in Barra do Garças, Pontal do Araguaia, Sinop, and Várzea Grande, while the former campus at Rondonópolis is now the Federal University of Rondonópolis, split off in 2018.

The Miss Brazil World 2001 pageant took place on September 28, 2001. It was 16th edition of the contest. Each state and the Federal District competed for their state and went to compete for the title of the Brazilian Crown for Miss World. The winner entered Miss World 2001. This year was the first time that Miss Brazil World was separated from the main pageant, Miss Brazil, for only 1 year. Joyce Yara Silva Aguiar of São Paulo ended being the winner at the end of the contest and also the first black woman to be Miss Brazil World. This contest was held separate from Miss Brazil 2001 and was apart from the latter for only a year before rejoining with the main contest the following year.
Miss Brazil World 2014 was the 25th edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and the 9th under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on August 9, 2014. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Islands competed for the title. Sancler Frantz of Ilha dos Lobos crowned her successor, Julia Gama of Rio Grande do Sul at the end. Gama represented Brazil at Miss World 2014. The contest was held at the Costão do Santinho Resort in Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil.
Miss Brazil CNB 2019 was the 30th edition of the Miss Brazil CNB pageant and the 5th under CNB Miss Brazil. The contest took place on September 3, 2019. Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions & Cities competed for the title. Jéssica Carvalho of Piauí crowned her successor, Elís Miele Coelho of Espírito Santo at the end of the contest. Miele represented Brazil at Miss World 2019. The contest was held at the Dall'Onder Grand Hotel in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

Each state, the Federal District and various Insular Regions competed for the title. Kamilla Salgado of Pará crowned Juceila Bueno of Rio Grande do Sul at the end of the contest. Bueno represented Brazil at Miss World 2011. The contest was held at the Hotel do Frade in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Miss Brazil World 2010 was the 21st edition of the Miss Brazil World pageant and 5th under MMB Productions & Events. The contest took place on August 7, 2010. Each state, the Federal District and representatives from various Insular Regions & the Brazilian diaspora competed for the title. Luciana Reis of Roraima crowned Kamilla Salgado of Pará at the end of the contest. Salgado represented Brazil at Miss World 2010. The contest was held at the Hotel do Frade in Angra dos Reis, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

A member of the Brazilian Social Democracy Party, he previously served as the 27th Secretary of State for Infrastructure and Housing in Mato Grosso do Sul from 2021 to 2022 under Government Reinaldo Azambuja and 20th Secretary of State for Government and Strategic Management of Mato Grosso do Sul from 2015 to 2021.
Miss Grand Brazil 2020 was the third edition of the Miss Grand Brazil beauty pageant, held on January 30, 2020, at the Dall'Onder Grande Hotel in Bento Gonçalves, Rio Grande do Sul. Twenty-two contestants, who qualified for the national stage through state contests held by the Concurso Nacional de Beleza, competed for the title, of whom a 27-year-old medicine from Campina Grande representing the state of Paraíba, Lala Guedes, was elected the winner. She then represented Brazil at the Miss Grand International 2020 contest, previously scheduled to take place in Venezuela, held a year later on March 27, 2021, in Thailand, and was named the fourth runner-up.

Rosiane Modesto de Oliveira is a Brazilian politician and teacher, currently serving her first term as a federal deputy of Mato Grosso do Sul. She was previously Vice Governor of Mato Grosso do Sul from January 2015 to January 2019 in the government of Reinaldo Azambuja. Her tenure was between January 2015 and April 2016 Secretary of Human Rights, Social Assistance and Labor of Mato Grosso do Sul during the government of Reinaldo Azambuja.
The Government Reinaldo Azambuja began on January 1, 2015, and will end on December 31, 2022, Reinaldo Azambuja was elected in 2014 as the 11th governor of Mato Grosso do Sul, defeating candidate Delcídio do Amaral. Azambuja was re-elected governor in the following election, in the second election he defeated Odilon de Oliveira.
