Sangharsha is a 1995 Indian Bengali-language political action film directed by Haranath Chakraborty. Produced by Prabir Kumar Rakshit and Gautam Sinha Roy under the banner of Laxmi Chitram, the film was based on a story by Anjan Choudhury, which itself was inspired from the political violence taken place in West Bengal during the late 1980s. Then he takes the situation under control and becomes the inspiration for the gang members to be turned around. It was an all time blockbuster at the box office.

The screenplay and dialogues were also written by Prabhat Roy himself. The soundtrack album and background score was composed by Bappi Lahiri, with the lyrics penned by Gauriprasanna Mazumder. It plots the story of an intelligent student Shankar, who becomes vigilante after the violent murder of his mother and brutal rape of his sister, by the local goons who kidnaps women and sell them outsides. When he starts avenging, DSP Rajib Chowdhury who is childhood friend of Shankar, comes on the board to investigate the murder mysteries done by Shankar.
