Sara Guy (born November 14, 1997) is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. [2] She currently second on Team Krysta Burns.
Guy made four appearances at the Canadian Junior Curling Championships during her junior career in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2019. In 2014, her Northern Ontario team skipped by Krysta Burns finished with a 4–5 round robin record and in 2015, her team finished 3–6. Guy had her best finish in 2017 as her team qualified for the playoffs with a 7–3 record. Facing Alberta in the semifinal, Team Northern Ontario gave up key steals in the fifth and sixth ends, ultimately losing the game 7–3 and taking home the bronze medal. [3] Also during the 2016–17 season, Guy won the 2017 U Sports/Curling Canada University Curling Championships, representing Laurentian University [4] At her final junior appearance in 2019, her team skipped by Kira Brunton finished with a 5–5 record.
Heading into the 2019–20 season, Guy rejoined the Burns rink with Megan Smith at third and Amanda Gates at lead to compete in the 2020 Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts. The team did play in one tour event together prior to provincials, the Part II Bistro Ladies Classic where they finished 1–3. [5] Team Burns finished 5–1 through the round robin of provincials defeating Abby Deschene, 9–4, Laura Johnston, 10–6, and Amanda Gebhardt, 9–6, before losing 9–4 to Krista McCarville, following up their last two round robin games with wins over Camille Daly, 8–3, and Bella Croisier, 8–1. They defeated Laura Johnston again in the semifinal 7–5 and met undefeated McCarville in the final. It was a tight final with singles being traded back and forth most of the game before McCarville scored two points in the ninth end to lead 6–4. Team Burns attempted a difficult shot for two on their final shot, but were unsuccessful, the final score being 6–5. [6] [7] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Ontario, the 2021 Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts was cancelled. As the reigning provincial champions, Team McCarville was given the invitation to represent Northern Ontario at the 2021 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, but they declined due to work and family commitments. [8] Team Burns was then given the invitation as they were the runners-up at the 2020 provincial championship, which they accepted. [9] At the Hearts, they finished with a 2–6 round robin record, defeating Northwest Territories' Kerry Galusha and Yukon's Laura Eby. [10]
Guy is a registered nurse at Health Sciences North. [2] She studied at Laurentian University. She is also a flight nurse with Keewatin Air.[ citation needed ] She currently lives in Wahnapitae, Ontario. [11]

Andrea Kelly, previously known as Andrea Crawford, is a Canadian curler from Fredericton, New Brunswick. She currently plays third on the Krista McCarville rink. She is a ten-time New Brunswick Scotties Tournament of Hearts champion skip, winning six straight titles from 2009–2014.
Krista Lee McCarville is a Canadian curler from Thunder Bay, Ontario. McCarville is a four-time Northern Ontario junior champion, the 2003 Winter Universiade silver medallist, a four-time Ontario provincial champion, a four-time Northern Ontario provincial champion, and a two-time Canadian national medallist.
Laine Peters [pronounced: LAY-nee] is a Canadian curler, from Calgary. Peters has played in 11 Tournament of Hearts and six World Championships. Peters grew up in Carrot River, Saskatchewan.

Tracy Fleury is a Canadian curler from Sudbury, Ontario. She joined the Rachel Homan rink as skip for the 2022–23 season, and now plays third on the team. With Homan, she won the 2024 Scotties Tournament of Hearts and will represent Canada at the 2024 World Women's Curling Championship. In 2021, she led her team to a silver medal at the 2021 Canadian Olympic Curling Trials. She has competed at the Canadian national championship seven times and was the Northern Ontario women's junior champion skip from 2005 to 2007.

The Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts is the provincial women's championships of curling in Northern Ontario, Canada. Beginning with the 2015 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the winning team has a direct entry to the Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship.
Amanda Gates is a Canadian curler who currently coaches the Abby Deschene rinks on the World Curling Tour. Gates used to play with Team Tracy Fleury and in 2015, Team Horgan became the first women's team in the history of women's curling to represent Northern Ontario at the Scotties Tournament of Hearts. In Gates' first appearance at the Scotties, she won the Marj Mitchell Sportsmanship Award.

Sarah Potts is a Canadian curler. She currently plays lead for the Krista McCarville rink. Potts is a four-time Scotties Tournament of Hearts medallist, winning silver representing Northern Ontario in 2016 and 2022 and bronze representing Ontario in 2010 and Northern Ontario in 2023.
Shannon Birchard is a Canadian curler from Winnipeg, Manitoba. She currently plays second on Team Kerri Einarson from Gimli, Manitoba. Currently, the Einarson team are the four-time reigning Scotties Tournament of Hearts champions, winning the title in 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023. Birchard also won the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts with Jennifer Jones when she filled for Kaitlyn Lawes who was competing at the PyeongChang Olympics. She would win a world championship as the alternate member of the Jones team that same year when they won the event in North Bay in 2018. She has also won four Grand Slam of Curling events with the Einarson rink.
The 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, Canada's national women's curling championship, was held from February 16 to 24 at the Centre 200 in Sydney, Nova Scotia. The winning team represented Canada at the 2019 World Women's Curling Championship held from March 16 to 24 at the Silkeborg Sportscenter in Silkeborg, Denmark. The final game featured the largest comeback in Scotties Finals history. Alberta's Chelsea Carey came back from a 5–1 deficit, winning the championship 8–6 thanks to 5 total steal points in the second half, and two dramatic misses by Ontario's Rachel Homan.

The 2020 Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Northern Ontario women's curling championship, was held from January 29 – February 2 at the Don Shepherdson Memorial Arena in New Liskeard, Temiskaming Shores. The winning Krista McCarville rink represented Northern Ontario at the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and finished in fourth place. The event was held in conjunction with the 2020 Northern Ontario Men's Provincial Curling Championship, the provincial men's championship.
Kira Michaela Brunton is a Canadian curler originally from Sudbury, Ontario. She currently plays third on Team Danielle Inglis. In 2015, she won the gold medal at the 2015 Canada Winter Games playing third for Megan Smith.
