The 2015 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from January 24 to February 1 at the Corner Brook Civic Centre and the Corner Brook Curling Club. [1] The winners represented Canada at the 2015 World Junior Curling Championships in Tallinn, Estonia. [2]

The Junior Provincials were held December 28–29 at the Re/Max CC in St. John's (women's) and January 3–6 at the Caribou Curling Club in Stephenville (men's). Junior Women's will be a best 3 of 5 series between the two teams qualified; Junior Men's will be a single round robin. For the playoffs, the Junior Men's division will have the top three teams advancing to the playoffs. If a team goes undefeated in the round robin, they must be beaten twice in the playoffs.

Jennifer Judith Jones OM is a Canadian curler. She was the Olympic champion in curling as skip of the Canadian team at the 2014 Sochi Games. Jones is the first female skip to go through the Games undefeated. The only male skip to achieve this was fellow Canadian Kevin Martin in 2010. Jones and her squad were the first Manitoba based curling team to win an Olympic gold medal. They won the 2008 World Women's Curling Championship and were the last Canadian women's team to do so until Rachel Homan in 2017. She won a second world championship in 2018. Jones represented Canada at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

After losing in the final the previous season, Team Ontario skipped by Glenn Howard defeated 2006 Olympic gold medalist Brad Gushue and his Newfoundland and Labrador team in the final.

The 2008 Tim Hortons Brier, Canada's men's curling championship, was held from March 8 to 16 at the MTS Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Skipped by Kevin Martin, Alberta defeated the defending champion, and reigning World Champion Glenn Howard and Team Ontario. The final pitted arguably the top 2 teams in the world, at least the top 2 teams in the World Curling Tour. The final, while close, failed to live up to expectations, and was widely considered boring, and was full of mistakes due to ice problems. Martin had a draw to the button in the tenth end to win the game.

The 2010 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships was held January 16–24 at the Colisée Cardin and at the Club Curling Aurèle-Racine in Sorel-Tracy, Quebec.

Chelsea Danielle Carey is a Canadian curler from Calgary, Alberta. She is the 2016 and 2019 Canadian and Alberta women's champion skip and 2014 Manitoba provincial women's champion skip.

The 2013 M&M Meat Shops Canadian Junior Curling Championships were held from January 31 to February 10 at the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park and at the Oilsands Curling Club in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Alberta last hosted the junior championships in Calgary in 2011. The winners will represent Canada at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships in Sochi, Russia.
