The Boundary Ford Curling Classic is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place every November at the Lloydminster Golf and Curling Centre [1] in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan. The tournament, started in 2007 as part of the women's World Curling Tour, is held in a triple knockout format. [2]

Johan Niklas Edin is a Swedish curler. He currently resides in Karlstad, which has been his curling home base since 2008. He holds several sport distinctions. He is the first and the only skip in World Curling Federation (WCF) history to win three Olympic medals – gold (2022), silver (2018), and bronze (2014) – and to skip men's curling teams to six World Men's Curling Championship medals. He is also a seven-time European Curling Championship titleholder and won three silver medals in those championships. He is currently tied with Oskar Eriksson in first place on the WCF-recognized list of championship medals, with thirty-eight in total. He reached the playoffs in forty-five Grand Slam of Curling events and won the Pinty's Cup with his current teammates, Oskar Eriksson, Rasmus Wranå, and Christopher Sundgren. With the same lineup in 2022, Edin and his teammates also became the first and only men's curling team to win a fourth consecutive World Men's Curling Championship. Edin has played exclusively in the position of skip since 2007. The team bearing his name has been ranked on the World Curling Tour as high as No. 1, including for most of the 2017–18 season. As of the end of the 2021–22 Curling Season, Team Edin was ranked in the top three teams in the world.

The Pumps and Pressure Red Deer Curling Classic is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place at the Red Deer Curling Club in Red Deer, Alberta. The tournament is held in a triple-knockout format. The men's tournament started in 1992 as a skins tournament. The women's tournament started in 1999 as a separate event held a few weeks earlier and merged with the men's event in 2007. The event was held as a World Curling Tour event until 2019 and has been held nearly every year since 2007. Curlers from Alberta have dominated the event on both sides since its inception. The event counts toward the Canadian Team Ranking System, which hands out points based on performances at CTRS events and deals with qualification to the Canadian Olympic Curling Trials.

The event was held in a triple knockout format, and the purse for the event was CAD$32,000, of which the winner, Renée Sonnenbergr, received CAD$8,000. Sonnenberg defeated Casey Scheidegger in the final with a score of 10–6.

The Good Times Bonspiel is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Calgary Curling Club in Calgary, Alberta. The tournament is held in a double knockout format. The tournament started in 2013 as part of the World Curling Tour's regional developmental series of events. After the 2014–15 season, the event was discontinued until it returned for the 2019–20 season under the new name, The Good Times Bonspiel.

The Icebreaker Challenge is an annual cashspiel, or curling tournament, that takes place in Manitoba. The Event was part of the World Curling Tour from 2017 to 2019. The 2016 event was known as the 2016 Performance Spider Midweek Special and was held in Waterloo, Ontario and was only part of the Ontario Curling Tour. The 2016 event included both genders, and in 2017 a separate women's event was added. Both the 2017 and 2018 events were held at the Granite Curling Club in Winnipeg. The 2017 event was known as the Spider Performance Icebreaker At The Granite and in 2018 it was known as the GOLDLINE Icebreaker At The Granite. Beginning in 2019 the event is being held at the Morris Curling Club in Morris, Manitoba. After a four-season hiatus, the event returned in 2023 with only a women's field.

The Tokoro Curling Club (常呂カーリング倶楽部) is a curling club in Tokoro Town, Kitami City, Hokkaido Island, Japan. The club has about 40 teams, including a team "Loco Solare" (ロコ・ソラーレ).

The Red Square Classic and the Moscow Classic are annual bonspiels on the men's World Curling Tour (WCT). The Red Square Classic is played outdoors at Red Square, while the Moscow Classic is played at the New League curling club in Moscow, Russia. Both events are held in early February within a week of each other.
