The Dave Jones Stanhope Simpson Insurance Mayflower Cashspiel is an annual bonspiel, or curling tournament, held at the Mayflower Curling Club in Halifax, Nova Scotia. [1] It has been held annually since 2013 as a men's and women's tour event. The tournament is held in a triple knockout format on the men's side and a round robin format on the women's side.
Suzanne Birt is a Canadian retired curler from Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island.
Geoff Walker is a Canadian curler, currently living in Edmonton, Alberta. He currently plays lead for the Brad Gushue rink. He was the Men's World Champion in 2017 and won silver the following year in 2018. A five-time national champion, he won the Brier in 2017, 2018, 2020, 2022 and 2023. Walker was a two-time World Junior Champion when he won gold in 2006 and 2007.
Jennifer "Jenn" Baxter is a Canadian curler from Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. She currently plays third on Team Christina Black out of the Mayflower Curling Club in Halifax.
The 2012 Spruce Grove Cashspiel was held from November 23 to 25 at the Spruce Grove Curling Club in Spruce Grove, Alberta as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. Both the men's and women's events were held in a round robin format, and the purses for the men's and women's events were CAD$8,000 each, with the winner of each event receiving CAD$2,100. In the men's final, Les Rogers defeated Greg Keith with a score of 6–3 for his first World Curling Tour title. In the women's final, Tiffany Steuber defeated Holly Whyte with a score of 8–7 in an extra end.

It has been an on and off event of the Men's and Women's World Curling Tour since 2004 under many different names. The tournament is held in a round robin format. In 2004, it was held as an open event to both men's and women's teams.
