The 2013 World Senior Curling Championships was held at the newly constructed Grant-Harvey Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick from April 13 to 20. The event was held in conjunction with the 2013 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship.
The 2013 Players' Championship was a curling tournament held from April 16 to 21 at the Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto, Ontario as part of the 2012–13 World Curling Tour. It was the fourth men's and fifth women's Grand Slam event of the 2012–13 curling season. The event was held in a round robin format.
The qualification event for the curling tournament at the 2014 Winter Olympics was held from December 10 to 15, 2013 at the BLZ Arena in Füssen, Germany.
