The 2024 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship (branded as the 2024 SD Biosensor World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship for sponsorship reasons) was held from March 11 to 16 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea.^[1]

The 2020 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held at the Curling Hall Wetzikon in Wetzikon, Switzerland from February 29 to March 7.

The 2021 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from May 17 to 23 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The 2020 World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship was held from April 10 to 15, 2021 in Lohja, Finland. The top three placing teams qualified for the 2021 World Wheelchair Curling Championship in Beijing, China. The United States won the gold medal, defeating the previously undefeated Switzerland 4–3 in the final. The 2022 World Men's Curling Championship was held from April 2 to April 10 at Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, United States. Team Sweden, skipped by Niklas Edin, was the defending championship team. The 2022 WMCC trialed the no-tick rule for the first time at a men's tournament at this level.

The 2022 World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held from April 30 to May 5 at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland. It was the first time the World Wheelchair Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was ever held.

The 2022 Everest Canadian Senior Curling Championships was held from December 4 to 10 at the Mariners Centre and the Yarmouth Curling Club in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. The winning teams will represent Canada at the 2023 World Senior Curling Championships in Gangneung, South Korea.

Through regional qualifiers, the field was narrowed down from over forty teams to just eighteen who competed in the national championship. The preliminary round was held in a round robin format which qualified the top three teams in each pool for the playoff round.

The 2023 World Wheelchair-B Curling Championship was held from November 5 to 10 at the Kisakallio Sports Institute in Lohja, Finland. The top three placing teams qualified for the 2024 World Wheelchair Curling Championship in Gangneung, South Korea.

The 2023 World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event was held from December 2 to 7 at the Dumfries Ice Bowl in Dumfries, Scotland. The top four placing teams qualified for the 2024 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Östersund, Sweden.

Mixed doubles curling at the 2024 Winter Youth Olympics was held from January 26 to February 1 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea.

The 2024 World Wheelchair Curling Championship is currently being held from March 2 to 9 at the Gangneung Curling Centre in Gangneung, South Korea.
