The 2006 World Junior Curling Championships were held from March 11 to 19 in Jeonju, South Korea.
The 2010 Pacific Curling Championships were held from November 16 to the 23, 2010 in Uiseong, South Korea. The Pacific Championships act as the qualifiers for the 2011 World Curling Championships. The top two women's berths moved on to the 2011 Capital One World Women's Curling Championship in Esbjerg, Denmark, while the top two men's berths moved on to the 2011 Ford World Men's Curling Championship in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
The 2013 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held from February 16 to 23 at the Sochi Olympic Curling Centre in Sochi, Russia. Canada won their third title after defeating Sweden in the final with a score of 4–3, becoming the first nation to win three world wheelchair curling titles.
The 2007 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held from February 17 to 24 at the Sollefteå Curling Club in Sollefteå, Sweden.
The men's tournament of the 2013 World Senior Curling Championships will be held at the Grant-Harvey Centre in Fredericton, New Brunswick from April 13 to 20.

The 2019 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship was held in Stavanger, Norway from April 20 to 27, 2019. The event was held in conjunction with the 2019 World Senior Curling Championships. A record forty-eight nations competed in the event, including Kosovo, Mexico, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine competing in their first World Curling Federation events.
